Dealing with the media is part of any high profile athletes career. Johnny Blaze Jr is no different. The second generation superstar came to verbal blows with a reporter at the beginning of camp. It all started when Sailfish practice was opened up to the national media. A reporter from Orange County emerged from the shadows and asked Blaze Jr the question that set him off:
OC Reporter: "Do you have any idea why your uncle Mike Boss Jr still isn't in the Hall of Fame and has little to no buzz despite being a multiple time Ultimus Champion and putting up all-time stats?"
Blaze Jr: Where are you from? We know you're not in this room every day. Let's see that lanyard you have. Ah, Orange County. This is no surprise. You guys are questionable and have been ever since my Great Uncle played for that team you have. I'll be happy to answer your question 1:1 inside Hell in a Cell exclusively on Peacock. If you're not down with that, well I have two words for you: Suck It.

Coming into the new season of the ISFL I feel very confident, actually I’m highly excited because coming from the DSFL with all the hard work and training I put it’s finally starting to show. I was a sleeper pick. I was drafted second to last in the draft and my first few games I put up big numbers with clutch numbers, this season means much to me because of that exact reason. Last season I wasn’t as involved because I was focusing primarily on training points just to be involved in the ISFL.
My last season in the DSFL wasn't horrible. I've put up great numbers there but my major goal was to bring a chip back to Tijuana before I went off ti the ISFL sadly I couldn’t get the job done but I will bring one to Baltimore. This will be my most dedicated and active season ever in the league, I will be a great & more than likely the greatest
As a seasoned veteran in the professional football realm, Dante King is no stranger to media appearances. He's heard it all over the course of his career, but early on this season a reporter managed to strike a nerve with a question that went too far. "Dante," the reporter asked, "who would win in a fight - one Luke Quick sized Busch Goose or one hundred Busch Goose sized Luke Quicks?" This question is, frankly, beyond the pale and the reporter should be ashamed of himself for asking it. Dante had to take a moment to collect himself and gather his thoughts before spitting out the only answer that he could muster through his rage: "Obviously, I would rather fight one Luke Quick sized Busch Goose. As the size of the Goose scales up to over six feet tall, assuming the density of the duck stays constant, its legs would quickly lose the ability to hold up its massive body and it would simply crumple over in front of me. 100 little Luke Quicks would be terrifying. No more questions."
