The Norfolk had a very solid S47 draft class, with 6 sold contributors on both sides of the ball. We had draft capital since we were #1 in the draft order, and the GMs did not disappoint. Roque is a solid player at #1 and we got some experienced users like TT, Gadget, and Pat and others. I will be the WR1 soon and overtake the IA benny hana, but it'll be for the best. We have a 1-2 punch at RB, and the best RB duo in the league. Our QB is a rookie but he looked really imrpressive in practice. Our secondary is one to be feared. We have 2 capped CBs and another one close. We have a solid edge rusher and a solid Linebacker. Our offensive line is really strong as well. This team should easily make the playoffs and should be favored to make the Ultimini at the very least. Anything else is a failure.
The Baltimore Hawks have welcomed quite a few new faces to the team this year. On the offensive side, we have a new backup running back in Tatum Washington III, a new slot receiver in Diego Lopez de Castilla, and a new tight end in Bong Stevens. On the defensive side, we traded for a new defensive lineman in Iosefa Fuamatu-Ma'afala and called up LB Joe Bazooka. While not many of them are in high profile positions, I think the two rookies, Joe Bazooka and Diego Lopez de Castilla will have the biggest impact. They are both currently the highest TPE earners of the newcomers and will only improve as the season goes on. They also happen to have the more high profile positions on the team.
I would expect that Joe Bazooka is in the running for Defensive Rookie of the Year and would expect that DL can easily replace the production lost from Sam Mercury of season 45. DSFL S43 Draft - Round 4 Pick 30

Written option: Every team approaches the new season with new faces. How do you think your team's additions over the offseason, whether in free agency or the draft, will contribute to the team? Who do you believe will stand out from the crowd and why?
I personally believe that the London Royals had a fantastic draft this year and I am really excited about our draft class. Having a personal friend in real life as a late round steal is always a good feeling for myself. I believe between him and the rest of our new draft class that we will be able to make a complete one-eighty when it comes to the state of London's defense. We have myself and Scud both maxed out with our RB Ford also close to the max. While we are currently lower on the TPE side of things based on what the tracker says, I am not letting that to quell my optimistic outlook for the upcoming season. We also drafted the NUMBER ONE CHIRPER with Mo Money Gunner and look forward to berating teams with a variety of chirps to elevate ourselves to an elite team in that sense. In short, let's go London, y'all are going down. DA CHOP
What a huge year for the DSFL with a stacked draft class. Whether you’re a team whose roster was decimated by callups for S46 or you were just looking to plug some holes on the depth chart, there were lots of opportunities in this draft. The Grey Ducks added a whopping NINE players in this draft, and one more off of waivers.
My predictions for biggest impact are either Julian Rose at WR2 or Tony Scaletta at LB. Both these players are just 1 of multiple actives in their position, but I think their drive to earn will translate to some on-field success. Rose is going to be a speed option at WR2 behind KrustyKrab Pizza, who will likely be taking WR1 duties. But with a stacked offense, sometimes the WR2 can shine against the worse DBs. Scaletta is leading a revamped linebacker corps as the tope TPE LB this season among the four(!) actives. Linebackers rack up a lot of tackles with opportunities for sacks and interceptions as well. I except to hear Scaletta’s name called often this season.
NOLA tried to make some moves during the offseason but nothing came to fruition so our additions have been through the draft. Oxford Comma is joing the LB Corp straight from the DSFL so it would be hard to expect a huge year from him but it could be done.
Edgecomb and Wevis are entering after a season or so in the DSFL, they join a secondary that has lost some experience. I think that both of them will have a role to play this season, I think Wevis especially will have a good season. The offense seems ready to score some points which means teams should have to dial up the passing attack to keep up. Hopefully this presents some opportunities for the rookie to stand up and shine. Edgecomb fills the nickel DB spot and just like Wevis will have a chance to go and make a name for themselves this season.
I think the young Yellowknife Safety Luke Hunter is going to impress fans going into his second season as a Wraith. This guy has the starting safety position locked up already, and he’s just coming off his rookie season. Look for Hunter to become a key piece in the Yellowknife defense moving forward. I also think rookie Yellowknife WR Silence Suzuka has a bright future ahead of him in the league. Suzuka should become a household name in a few years, mark my words. They have already demonstrated a high level of football knowledge in the DSFL, and I think that will carry over nicely to the ISFL, where they can learn behind Wraiths legends Money Tolliver and Maximus Boudreaux. The future is bright in Yellowknife. Many pundits across the league are slotting the Wraiths into last place in the NSFC, but I think this team is going to impress and surprise fans across the league this year.
With the S47 Rookie Draft in the books, the London Royals have both brought on plenty of young talent at critical positions of need, and cemented some great depth pieces on both sides of the ball.
Headlining the rookie class is the WR duo of Lane Wilson and Hollywood Tez, providing some legitimate firepower to an already loaded offense. Bringing some Grade A beef to the defensive line is DT Maurice "Mo Money" Gunner. In the secondary, CB Mooty Poop-Eater and Safeties Demarcus Brothers and Honorius Salvatore will be patrolling the defensive backfield for years to come. Providing essential depth and rotational value, other rookies include WR Gavin Bebardo, TE Oliver Wilson, DE Derek Becker, and LBs Siris Inderbitzen, Ryan Joseph, and Johnathan ByWater. Last but certainly not least, K/P Hamm Hargreaves looks send his kicks right over the London Eye with his cannon of a leg. With these young players, in addition to the veteran presence on the Royals squad, there is already chatter about bringing home that league championship to London this season. Take a look at the rookie squad below!

Man, this offseason was a rollercoaster for us. First off, we picked up two rookies that got the whole team buzzing – Amamamakan and Purple Pirate Poo. These guys brought a whole new energy to the squad. Amamamakan's got skills that make you do a double-take, and Purple Pirate Poo? That dude's got moves that'll leave recievers scratching their heads. It's like we hit the jackpot in the draft. But, you know, with the highs come the lows. Baron, the legend, decided to call it a day and hang up her boots. That hit us hard. Her leadership and experience were the backbone of this team. We're definitely gonna miss having him on the field, but hey, it's a new chapter, right? Now, let's talk about the curveball signing a DE who's rocking the low TPE and marked as inactive. Some might raise an eyebrow, but let me tell you, this guy's got something to prove. It's like he's been sleeping on his potential, and we're here to wake him up. We believe in the underdogs, and if he brings even half of what we've seen in practice, he's gonna turn heads. So, yeah, Baron may have left a void, but we've got the rookies turning heads and this low TPE DE looking to make a splash. It's a mix of nostalgia, fresh talent, and an underdog story brewing. Buckle up, 'cause this season's about to be one wild ride.

Considering my freshness into the league, and having very little familiarity as far as the other players are concerned, I can't offer much technical chop about other players, however, that being said; I'm looking forward to seeing how Jonathan will be able to manage starting out against other WR in the league, and I'm confident any touchdowns he can't land, our other WR Brad Woof, will be ready and willing to handle things. With actual Air Bud, a Tempest Cleric, and Edith Nickleback on the team, I'd keep close watch on the pythons for the first few weeks. Honorable mentions from other teams include but are not limited to: Ranch-Pizza Pizza-Man, Bob Kronkowski, and Bean Beanman III. Raphael will see you now.
