WEll Honolulu is doing very well. We are in a spot where we can clinch a one seed or at the very least we should be a playoff team. Obviously I am happy about that. It would be awesome to win another title in this league and I think this group of people really deserves it and has had some great effort to get there and a lot of hard work. But a small part of me hopes we get the 2 seed just so we can have one extra game in the playoffs. Look, I love career records, what can I say. So having more games would help with career postseason records. I know I am vain, but it is what it is. That being said, I am hoping for at least two games and hopefullu Maxwell Jacob Friedman can make some noise again and have some good stats and help his team win a championship.

To make it to the playoffs in the last week of the regular season, the team should focus on the following:
Win crucial games: Winning remaining games is essential to secure a playoff spot. Monitor the competition: Keep an eye on other teams' performances and standings to gauge your chances. Stay healthy: Ensure key players are in good shape and minimize injuries. Strategic adjustments: Analyze opponents' strengths and weaknesses, and adapt game plans accordingly. For those mathematically eliminated, reflecting on the following could have made a difference: Improved performance earlier in the season: Winning more games earlier would have secured a better position. Roster management: Making the right player acquisitions and trades during the season. Consistency: Maintaining a high level of play throughout the season. Addressing weaknesses: Identifying and shoring up team weaknesses in key areas. Ultimately, preparation and strategy are key to making the playoffs and achieving postseason success, these key components are the reason why most teams will continue to succeed and others will fail.
My Norfolk Seawolves are not yet mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, but would need some incredible performances over the last 3 games, as they sit three games behind Dallas in the standings. The first tiebreaker (head to head) is a push, so it would go to points for, where Dallas holds a 64 point advantage. That means Norfolk needs to beat London, Minnesota, and Portland and outscore Dallas by 65 over the course of those three games, while Dallas needs to lose all three. Norfolk has the worst scoring offense in the league, and a lot of that comes down to pass protection. Boudreaux needs time to find receivers, and receivers need time to get open. As the passing game goes, so do the Seawolves. If the line can give our QB time to throw and recievers can get open, we can be productive on offense. This is definitely a long shot scenario, and one that unfortunately isn't likely to come to fruition, but it also gives Norfolk a chance to ponder what changes they can make to be a better team next season.

The New Orleans Secondline is a young team that is still trying to build. I don't know what exactly happened to them before I got here, but I know that they've been left in the dust for a while. So what could've been done differently to get them into the playoffs? It really doesn't matter. Sometimes you have off years. As long as you continue to show growth and development as time goes on, that's fine. They gave up the most points and barely beat out a couple of NSFC teams to having only the third worst producing offense. But these things take time, especially building up a defense. So while other teams may have been closer, I think the Yeti will likely miss the playoffs and could probably have more to say about what they could've done, NOLA is focused on just year over year improvement right now. And we just went from a single win last season to now a minimum of three this season. That's improvement.

We finally have made the playoffs after a tough fight with Arizona Austin and Honolulu, luckily we were able to win last night vs the orange county otters in order to make the playoffs for the third consecutive year, however in order to make the playoffs we need to make a HUGE splash and win. Our team's determination and unity have carried us this far, and we're not stopping now. With the playoffs on the horizon, we're focused on giving it our all to bring home that championship trophy and make our fans proud. To achieve our championship aspirations in football, we'll have to face formidable opponents like Austin and Honolulu in the playoffs. Beating them won't be easy, but we know what it takes. We must tighten our defense, shutting down Austin's star quarterback and Honolulu's explosive running back. Offensively, we need to maintain a balanced attack, exploiting their weaknesses in the secondary and on the offensive line. Teamwork and communication will be key, and our coach is emphasizing strategic plays and smart decision-making. With unwavering dedication and a winning game plan, we're ready to take on the challenge and prove that we're the best team in the league.
For Orange County, the most glaringly obvious failure of the team (to me) is that their kicker, Eliot Bukowski, could've hit about 5 more kicks. This would have maybe only resulted in one more win, but I'm still disappointed in my season. Otherwise, our offensive line needs improvement. Bannings was under way too much pressure this season, causing many sacks and fumbles. We need to create a solid line to protect him as he continues to grow his attributes. Our defense, while not performing terrible in my opinion, was still lacking in major impact plays. Our sack and turnover rates were among the lowest in the league. Those types of plays not only put offensive drives to a screeching halt, but they also hype up the team. However, the last thing we need is to be patient. We have young talent that's still growing, with some really great players waiting in the wings. As a team, the culture has remained solid despite a disappointing season, so we're doing well. Elimination isn't a huge deal at this point, as long as we keep our heads held high.
