Hey lads and ladettes, ya boy Raven back at it again with the life time kicker NSFL point list. I did the first ranking after season four and I wrote about all kickers from S1-S4, this time around I only have to look at season 5 kickers, so lets get busy with it.
The first ranking can be found here
Last time around I did it point wise starting at the bottem and working my way up the shaft to the tip. This time around I`m going to do it based on alphabetical team order. So I will start off by talking about one of my personal biggest suprising teams this season. The Outlaws.
Dean Jackson - 16 games - XP: 53/56 (94.6%) - FG: 15/17 (88.2%) - Total: 98 points
Jackson was one of the players I was looking forward to see play the most this season. A hot new rook coming in from the juniors and drafted to a franchise with a lot of tainted history. Home of the previous best kicker in the league C. Ronaldo, Jackson had some big shoes* to fill. (* Note: Due to the whole ER nonsence, shoes might not have been that huge to fill). Jackson played for the best offensive teams this season as they got to the point in which Jackson could line up to kick a total of 56 fuckin extra points. That's 4 per game. You can tell the outlaws finish their offensive drives due to the low number of field goals presented to Jackson. For a rookie season these are some great numbers, too bad Jackson is going to get up there in TPE and we all know TPE means jack fuckin shit when it comes down to kickers. I love Jackson though and hope to see him shine bright in the future.

Turk Turkleton - 16 games - XP: 46/48 (95.8%) - FG: 23/26 (88.5%) - Total: 115 points
Right so what can I say about my own player. First of all I want to throwback to my previous ranking in which my hot take was that I would have another shit season either with my extra points or field goals. Well at the start of the season it felt like both were going to happen this season. Fuckin hell what a bad start for Turkleton. I was thankful that he did pick up his shit later in the season, however scoring 23 of 26 field goals taken is no bueno. One of those kicks was from 64 yards, so I will give him some leeway there. 88.5% is not as bad as I thought I would end the season with, but another season going lower than 90% in field goals is just pushing me to the edge ya know. So hopefully he learns from this, or maybe very hopefully we`ll see an archetype change rule come into play soon.

Peg Leg - 16 games - XP: 15/17 (88.2%) - FG: 21/24 (87.5%) - Total: 78 points
Peg Leg together with Jackson were the new kids in town. They had to prove themself among the vet kickers in the league and man did Leg do just that. His numbers might not reflect it, but before the previous two games of the season Peg Leg was actually top 2 kickers in the league. A missed field goal and 2 games in a row in which no touch downs were scored, hurt his end of the season numbers a little. However 2 extra point misses and 3 field goals is nothing to complain about in your first year. Ofcouse your early years are the ones you want to make the most inpact in, because you won't shine as bright like you do now, until you regress down. Leg played on a struggling Yeti team and we can tell by his low amount of extra points taken and field goal opportunities. Hopefully for Leg the Yeti start trailing upwards next season, so he can start stacking them stats and use that leg of his. Leg also scored the furthest field goal this season. Banging home a 57 yarder.

Bojo Kicksit - 16 games - XP: 25/29 (86.2%) - FG: 29/31 (93.5%) - Total: 112 points
Man I can't believe Bojo Kicksit is still in the league. You would think that five seasons in we would have replaced this scrubcake already. Ofcourse I kid, Kicksit is a classic in the NSFL and he actually put down a solid season. Ignoring the 4 missed extra points you have a lad that went 29 in 31 on field goals. The second best preformance in the NSFL as well as having kicked the most field goals and scored the most field goals this season. This also goes to show that the legions offense is way better than that of the Yeti. Alot more extra points and alot more field kicks. It will be interesting to see if Kicksit will still be in the league next season. Being one of the lowest tpe inactive kickers and with a few kickers pumping to play in the juniors. An age without kicksit will be weird. Also Kicksit was the only kicker to attempt 3 or more 50> yard field goals and scored all 3 of them. The lad.

Bradley T Madlad - 16 games - XP: 47/51 (92.2%) - FG: 22/25 (88%) - Total: 113 points
The Otters finally broke their chain of using a different kicker in every season and here he is the mad lad himself. Madlad showed up huge this season in the field goal category. Last season he ended up with a 21 scored in 31 kicked record which was good for 67.7% score rate. He turned that number around massively and went 22/25 this season. However on the flippity flop side his 50/51 from last saw a bit of a drop as he went 47 in 51 this season. Still an excellent number in that sample size. Showing off the dominate Otters offense with 51 attempts to kick in an extra point. Very interesting in seeing if the Otters will keep Madlad around. He is active, but a slow progressor (Which as you can see doesnt matter for kickers), but I mean, they are still the Otters and it would be very weird to see them have the same kicker for three seasons in a row.

Stephan Harris - 16 games - XP: 42/44 (95.5%) - FG: 25/26 (96.2%) - Total: 117 points
My man Harris. One of the most consistant kickers in the league preforms another amazing season. Sadly he missed out on another 100% season as he misses a field goal in the late part of the season. However finishing with only 2 extra points missed and only a single field goal is still very amazing. Making him the field goal percentage leader and 3nd in the extra point percentage Harris is my lock down for kicker of the year award, we had some great young talent, but I always feel like Harris just has that edge. Honestly if I could be any other kicker in the league it would be Harris. His numbers look so sexy. I do not know what more I can say about this man, because his numbers do all the talking for him. The Liberty are smiling Harris landed with them after season 1. Harris will be amazing to watch for years to come. Mister consistentcy, just look at that career total percentage. The only kicker to be 90 date=]Christiano Ronaldo will over take Turkleton and lead the total point list[/quote]
Yeah so this didn't happen for obvious reason. Was it a reasonable hot take at the time, heck yes. Did it cool off? very hard.
Quote:Turk Turkleton will be the first player to hit 100 total field goals scored. Christiano Ronaldo will follow up after him
So I kinda got this right and at the same got this wrong. Ronaldo fucked this take up so hard.
Quote:Blewitt, Harris and Kicksit will overtake Booter. With Blewitt taking 3rd and Harris taking 4th. Bumping Booter down to 6th
It was an easy take they were going to finish above of booter. However I hard whiffed on the ranking prediction. I was expecting Blewitt to explode this season and Harris have a bit of a set back I guess? Never doubt harris real talk.
Quote:- Rookie kicker Dean jackson will come into the league and tear it up. Depending on where he lads.
- Harris will have another 100% year in either Extra Points or Field goals.
- Not a hot take, but Turkleton will have another poopy season extra points or field goals.
All yes on these.
So let's do some new luke warm takes despite how horrible I am at them:
- Bojo Kicksit will be pushed to the bench by a new hot rookie in town. With both Forfeit and McCormick being drafted soon. I think one of these kickers will replace Bojo sadly.
- The Yeti have a way better season and Leg will be able to show his power.
- Harris goes 100% in either extra points or field goals.
- (Yes I am going to do this again hah) Turkleton will have a shite field goal percentage.
