The Otters are on the cusp of yet another appearance in the Ultimus game, and yet a rebuild might be on the horizon. The team's core is comprised largely of older players and they won't last forever. Mike Boss is set to regress down to about 500 TPE, Bradley Westfield may dip below the century mark, Robert Phelps has been phased out as a primary target, and others - like Angus Winchester, Marc Spector, and Greg Clegane - will find their own setbacks coming in regression. The Otters have been steadfast in holding onto their draft picks in trade discussions, passing up a handful of opportunities to improve their chances at the trophy this season. With these players at the back end of their respective careers, perhaps the Otters should consider using some to retool with a strong incoming draft class. The team needs help at safety, defensive line, and quarterback. They will be able to pick up Gus TT Showbiz in the second round of the upcoming draft, but hitting with their first round pick will be vital. Players like Alexandre Thibault and Bucky Barnes could be hot targets for a team like the Otters and help the team reload rather than rebuild.
