**SCANDAL ALERT**
Bradley Westfield has been an enigma at the WR position. Nobody has been quite able to explain his success -- until now.
First, what got me looking into the most successful wide receiver’s attributes anyways?
My original goal was to see how Westfield had earned and regressed during his career as I begin to map out the twilight years for myself. I was looking to see where he started each season TPE wise and what his production was.
Let’s take a look shall we?
Westfield is a Route Runner WR:
(MAX: 70) Strength: 30
(MAX: 95) Agility: 70
(MAX: 25) Arm: 1
(MAX: 80) Intelligence: 50
(MAX: 25) Throwing Accuracy: 1
(MAX: 35) Tackling: 20
(MAX: 95) Speed: 65
(MAX: 90) Hands: 60
(MAX: 35) Pass Blocking: 10
(MAX: 35) Run Blocking: 10
(MAX: 100) Endurance: 60
(MAX: 25) Kick Power: 1
(MAX: 25) Kick Accuracy: 1
From Westfield's player page (this jibes with the sim index as well):
(MAX: 65) Strength: 60
(MAX: 100) Agility: 80
(MAX: 25) Arm: 1
(MAX: 90) Intelligence: 66
(MAX: 25) Throwing Accuracy: 1
(MAX: 35) Tackling: 1
(MAX: 95) Speed: 95
(MAX: 90) Hands: 86
(MAX: 35) Pass Blocking: 1
(MAX: 35) Run Blocking: 1
(MAX: 100) Endurance: 90
(MAX: 25) Kick Power: 1
(MAX: 25) Kick Accuracy: 1
Westfield has regressed twice now. Each time, he has taken less beneficial attributes below the build minimum. How did this slip through?
And what can be done about this player, who has played above his TPE for 30 games now?
While I may be judgmental, the ruling on this is not up to me. Let’s see how other people feel about this behavior.
Finally, a voice of reason.
Regardless of the wise warning, let’s take a look at the ruling the last time something like this occurred.
As the precedent has already been set, the only reasonable outcome would be: suspended for the remainder of the season without the potential for any awards, or the ability to claim ACs or TCs, right?

Kristy95 Wrote:Yeah this is a huge problem and needs to be addressed. Even if no foul play happened, this causes for changes in how things are handled or maybe the loss of some draft picks for the team or maybe the removal of those that missed the extra TPE spent. I am not sure, but honestly I hope this is not just pushed under a rug and ignored. This is a huge injustice and needs to be addressed harshly.
4D Chess Wrote:Wow.... this is really bad.
Honestly, this player may need to be banned. I know foul play is ruled out but this is not acceptable and they've plhdd 30 games now with a WR with fake atts.
Again, not blaming anyone but the FO needs to come down really hard on this.

I do not think the team should be punished unless there is definitive proof that they were involved in this (which I strongly doubt is the case).

There was no malicious intent on the Hawks' end, no evidence proving otherwise, and we don't believe that taking action just because we can is fair or reasonable. In addition, without any way to positively be sure his presence made a game changing impact, we've decided it wouldn't be right, or set a good precedent to compensate opposing teams.
As for Gibson himself, he will be reverted to 50 TPE asap, suspended for the remainder of the season without the potential for any awards, or the ability to claim ACs or TCs.
