[div align=\\\"left\\\"]For the fellow DSFL fans, players, and coaches, we are only FOUR GAMES away from the end of the regular season. This season has become a much more interesting race to the finish with only a single team that seems to all ready be out of contention. These predictions and updates are for each DSFL team and with their chances/trends to getting to the finale at the end of the season.[/div]

Was anyone predicting Kansas City to double their win total last season? Let alone do more and have a chance to make it to the championship. The Coyotes have won three of their last four games at the second half of the season, with only a 19-10 loss to Portland ending their streak. They have only gotten better as the season goes along and could easily end the season as a contender for the Ultimini.

Norfolk currently sits at second in the North division, and a holds a lead over Kansas City that might be a bit too much to be taken away. However, the Seawolves are doing the opposite of Kansas City by losing three of their last four to begin the second half of the season. If this trend continues, then they might find themselves falling out of the championship conversation at the very end. The two games against the Coyotes will be major factors to determine if Norfolk will make it or not.

Portland is the S14 Ultimini Champions, and it seems as though they will be making it to the S15 Ultimini as repeaters. However, Portland only has a one game lead over Norfolk in the North currently. Furthermore, Portland has a bad loss to San Antonio in week 8 that shows that anything can happen in the end of this season. Portland won't miss the championship, but let's not award the S15 title to them just yet.

Palm Beach has some big highs, some big lows, and a tie with the worst team in the DSFL this season. Things have not been as cool in Palm Beach with a constant back and forth with wins and losses all through the season. The only other constant in the Solar Bears' season has been their 0-3 record to the Tijuana Luchadores which does not bode well for Palm Beach if they plan on trying to make it to the Ultimini since the Luchadores will be the team in their way. However, beneath the Solar Bears is little competition to take their place.

The Marshalls have only two wins so far this season, but those two wins are against the current front runners of both divisions. They also have tied with Palm Beach in a crazy week five game that has been the only other good mark on the San Antonio season. The rest of their season has been pure disappointment when it comes to winning the small amount of close games they have. Despite all of this, the Marshalls are only one win behind Palm Beach in the South, but face off against Tijuana twice to finish their season.

The team with the best chance at making the championship, Tijuana leads the South by a decent margin. The remainder of their division schedule also helps them pretty much guarantee their spot. Tijuana's struggles remain against cross divisional games (specifically Kansas City whom they are 0-2 against) which will be a problem in winning the Ultimini, but they should at least make it there.
