Hello everyone,
Orien Drake here All Purpose Running back for the Midwest Wolfpack ready to take any questions regarding the play of my team during this tournament aswell as my individual performances and the upcoming DSFL Draft!
1) I have been improving each game. So that was great to see. I started off the prospect bowl as the second string running back behind Utler and as each game went by I started getting more and more touches. It wasn't until game 4 when I out touched Utler. In week 5 and 6 I managed to run for 84 yards and a touchdown and then for 78 yards and a touch down and lead all Running backs on my team for touches.
2) I have really been enjoying watching Trae Bacon's Game develop. He looks to be a solid DT prospect and I imagine he will go pretty high in the upcoming DSFL draft.
3) I would have to say Gorilla. Why I don't know... I just have always loved gorillas.
1) As the weeks went on I got more and more touches. So it was great to see how my I developed as weeks went on. Glad to finally get the Touchdown monkey off my back and score in both weeks 5 and 6.
2) I have really enjoyed being a teammate with Trae Bacon so far. Seems like a solid dude with a great work ethic.
3)Being Canadian it is hard not to say the beaver. With that said Capybara is pretty cool.
1)As the runningback that is most likely to run between the tackles this season I very much hope to not have to square off against you during games. I would however look forward to practicing against the best as it will help develop my game and hopefully benefit the team!
2)I definitely improved as the tournament went on. I started off as RB2 and finished as RB 1 with a touchdown in my last two games. I would have to say sandwich over taco as I feel like it has more versatility and isn't limited by the bread/taco shell
3) Well this is definitely not an ideal situation. Ideally as I know I have a dominant from 4 coming at me my best option to ensure I get past the first wave is pulling a guard. I expect the weak side DT is gonna get through the line regardless so pull the weakside guard. Strong side guard and tackle doubleteam the Defensive end and the pulled guard is my line of defense for dealing with La Aguna. At this point I like my chances against the safeties. When it comes to play calling I really like the idea of guiding my opposition to make a decision. I wanna be able to dictate what they are going to do so I can counterattack.
1) while I wanna see my stats skyrocket it is still a team game in the end and as long as I am helping my team win that is all that matters to me. With that said I was playing RB2 minutes which turned into RB1 as weeks went by. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do over a full season.
2) I think it works both ways. The offensive lines makes holes for the RB and the Running back moves the team down the field. I cant do my job without them and they cant win games without me scoring. There is not position I rely on more than my lineman so I hold them in high esteem. Also the more effective they make me in the run game the less plays they need to try to repel opposition defenses. I think it is important for RB's to understand how the offensive line works. I wanna be able to line up at each position and know what I am doing so I can be a better RB. I would block for anyone of them and I know they would do the same.
3) well the Wolfpack didn't get off to the best start but we really turned it around in the end. The Mongoose look pretty dominant and had our number each time we played them.

2. Are there any of your teammates or rival prospects you hope end up on your DSFL team with you?

2. How would you rate your own performance so far in the Prospect Bowl, on a scale of sandwich to taco? (Your definition of which is better is up to you, but you will be judged by *many* on this)
3. It's the first game of the DSFL season. The play has been called, and it's a blast play. You're to run the ball. The defense is running a 4-3, and on the line (from your left to right) is Mike Franchet, Trae Bacon, Bjørn Ironside, and Clelin Ferrell. Behind them you see De La Agua and VanJensen, and De La Agua points at you just a few seconds before the snap. What do you do?

2. Does the running back make the offensive line good or does the offensive line make the running back look good.
3. Who would you say is the toughest competitor you've played so far during the prospect bowl?
