The steal. The snubbed. The agitator. The asshole.
All of these words can definitely define Jack Durden, the running back who is currently playing for the Arizona Outlaws. Key word: currently.
Jack Durden is a known dynamo is multiple leagues, by those who branch out from only watching football. Yet he was drafted late. Extremely late. Jack Durden was drafted seventy eighth overall. The last pick of the thirteenth round. While he went in the first 60% of the draft, it’s not where you want to be selected.
However, Jack Durden is proving almost every single night that he’s got the athletic build to be a top running back, and is showing his team that he’s the man they want to have the ball.
Durden has more attempts than Mackworthy (14 to be exact), and has 54 more yards than him. Durden trails in average yards by .1 (4.2 to 4.1) yet has three more touchdowns than our so called number 1 running back.
Durden isn’t doing as well as Mackworthy when it comes to catching. Durden has 11 catches for 68 yards, a 6.2 average yards per catch, a long of 12 yards, and a single touchdown.
Mackworthy has 9 catches for 104 yards, a 11.6 average yards per catch, a long of 28 yards, and zero touchdowns.
It’s sad to see that the man that is a better running back is getting reps, but not enough.
Durden asked a harmless question in the locker room, hoping to get a response from GM or coach, and instead got backlash from some random player on the team.
Durden asked:
The response, in which the player will remain anonymous was:
Awfully accusatory when asking a simple question.
But what could Durden do if he was given the ball the amount of times he deserves?
Durden isn’t here to play second fiddle. He isn’t here to split time or be “the other guy”. He also isn’t here to “just complain”.
He’s here to win, and win by domination. Does that mean he gets sent elsewhere at the end of the season? Does he go unprotected during the Expansion Draft? What lies in store for Durden’s future other than being the top running back for Arizona, despite splitting time?
We’ll see. Hopefully, we will see.

Quote:Is this all you do is demand more reps? It's a simulation software, the GM isn't subbing the players in and out when he feels like it. The Sim is set to RB by Committee, and the Sim determines who gets more carries.
You average less yards per carry than Reg, last time I checked, and he has twice the avg yards per catch. You have the most carries on the team and the most rushing touchdowns. We're winning games, and you are getting RB1 numbers. Our running game is like the Bengals with Hill, Bernard, and Burkehead(?)
What is there to complain about? We are in 1st, clinched a playoff berth, and you lead the team in every rushing Stat except average.
