2. 7) Next year Written: If your team has been eliminated, why will the next year, or the year after that, be the year that your team is going to win the Ultimus or Ultimini. I think the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers are in prime position to go from worst to first next season as long as the team stays somewhat intact. I think the biggest issue that teams in the DSFL face are the fact that some positions are usually one and done and things can change instantly on a yearly basis. Fortunately, with the cap on players that are in the DSFL, there can usually be some good parity but it still comes down to who is or has been called up and who is staying down. Usually if you can find some guys that are down for a year or two extra, the team can excel around them. If the Myrtle Beach Bucs keep Thomas-Fox, Sweet and Tyerucker, the offense is going to be absolutely electric. Losing multiple or even one of those guys could be a big deal and a huge blow to the team but I believe they should be able to keep at least some of them. I believe if Thomas-Fox is continuing his development as a quarterback, he will definitely be down but with some scouts saying that he will likely need to play elsewhere to have an NSFL career, things could change. If he ends up as a running back, wide receiver, or corner back, he could see immediate NSFL action and the Bucs could be left with a hole at the game's most important position. 3. 8) Draft Focus Written: What areas of your team has the biggest holes that you are hoping get filled in the upcoming S19 draft? What round are you hoping it’s filled? I don't have a current NSFL team but I can talk about the draft a bit with the fact that I am going to be in it and a team could fill a hole with Deondre Thomas-Fox. A team that has an immediate need or a possible future need soon at the quarterback position could take a chance on him to be the guy for them and commit to developing him as their next franchise QB. Another team could benefit from Thomas-Fox's speed and utilize him at a different position which he has stated he would be comfortable playing. In order, the positions he would like to play are running back, wide receiver, and corner back. Given his speed, and smaller stature, he would love to remain at a speed position to best utilize his abilities on the field. A team with a need at any of those positions can benefit from taking Thomas-Fox and letting him do his thing. The main thing that Thomas-Fox has stated he would like to do is be a premier return man in the NSFL and return both kicks and punts for a chance to be a perennial threat for return man of the year. Likely if he were to be chosen at anything but QB, he will need to be given a return man role or his drafting team could be starting their relationship off poorly. 4. 9) Enemies Written: Not everyone loves each other, write 200 words on an opposing player or player in this year's playoffs about how they will struggle, why do you want them to lose? (Don't be too mean). Let's talk about the quarterback that is currently at the helm of the Tijuana Luchadores and the future QB of the Philadelphia Liberty, Avon Blocksdale Jr. First, let's talk about the fact that in a class with multiple capable max earning QBs, he decided to stay on as a QB as a GM player and prevent one of the deserving users the chance to stay as a QB and be a big part of a team's future. Guys like Phoenix, Thomas-Fox or others may have to consider different options or sit for awhile in the DSFL due to this. Second, he pretty much from my understanding, forced his way onto Tijuana who has been known as kind of the New York Yankees of the DSFL, stockpiling talented players and buying championships as much as one can in the DSFL. Another guy could have been the guy for Tijuana or ABJ could have been trying to help a different team win but nope. Third, dude sucks, he was one of the lowest rated QBs and will continue to be through his NSFL career as well. He won't amount to anything like his father did and he will flame out faster than you can say his name. Thomas-Fox will likely step aside to play a different position but if he stayed as a QB, he would have way more potential than this clown. Former players:
QB Joliet Christ Jr. (HON/BER) (1x Ultimus Champ)
WR Deondre Thomas-Fox (SJS) (2x Ultimus Champ)
QB Joliet L. Christ (SJS) (Hall of Fame) (1x Ultimus Champ)

3) All about the QBs
The season 18 Ultimus featured a superb quarterback matchup between Orange County's Franklin Armstrong and Yellowknife's Cooter Bigsby. Armstrong made big strides in his second year as starting QB for the Otters, ranking 5th out of 10 in QB Rating with an 18 to 9 touchdown to interception ratio. However, Armstrong truly shined in the running game, compiling 754 yards (8th most in the league) at a league leading 5.9 yards per carry. Armstrong's dual threat capabilities could put him in the conversation for the Offensive Player of the Year award. Meanwhile, Bigsby remains entrenched as one of the elite quarterbacks in the game, and his league leading 31 touchdowns while leading Yellowknife to the best record in the league could be a strong enough case for Most Valuable Player consideration. In the Ultimus, Armstrong had the upper hand in this head to head matchup, but maybe not in the way viewers were expecting. Notably, Armstrong finished the game with only 5 carries for 6 yards. However, Armstrong took care of business through the air, completing 16 of 26 passes for 226 yards and 1 touchdown, for an impressive 102.4 QB Rating and earning Offensive Player of the Game honors. Meanwhile, Bigsby struggled against an impressive Orange County defense, completing 20 of 36 passes for 246 yards but 2 interceptions brought his QB Rating down to 63.0. Without Cooter's typical standard of performance, the Wraiths could only muster 10 points on the day en route to another disappointing playoff loss. 8) Draft Focus After making some big splash moves in the Season 18 draft, namely trading back into the first round (after taking yours truly Louisiana Purchase with the fourth overall pick) in order to take stud safety (and potential Defensive Rookie of the Year) Pete Parker, the Colorado Yeti sit in the Season 19 draft without a first round pick. Despite making the playoffs, the Yeti only finished 5-8 and have plenty of areas that could be improved. The rushing offense was also strong, also finishing first in the division and third in the league at 132.4 yards per game. However, leading rusher Terry Taffy announced his decision to switch to the defensive side of the ball, leaving a big hole to filled. The passing offense needs to show improvement, finishing 9th in yards per game at 214.9, but the Yeti are set at QB with young Wolfie McDummy still improving, the receiving corps is lead by top talent James Bishop, and tight end Armor King had a quietly impressive season. It pains me to say, but passing defense was the weakest area for the Yeti, but as mentioned above, the Yeti made this is the prime focus of the Season 18 draft, with 2 first round picks spent on defensive backs. In summary, depending on how free agency shakes out, addressing the running back position is a top concern, followed closely by adding wide receiver depth. 7) Next Year My Colorado Yeti made the playoffs with only a 5-8 record but were quickly eliminated by the Baltimore Hawks in the first round. That may sound like a disappointing season on the surface, but the Yeti truly seem to be a team on the grow, with one of the youngest cores of great players in the league. On the offensive side of the ball, it all starts with the quarterback, Wolfie McDummy, who struggled at times during the season, but finished with the 6th highest QB Rating in the league and his 8 interceptions on the season were the fewest of any starting quarterback. After runningback Terry Taffy's position switch to defensive lineman, rookie Michael Vincent leads the way for a rushing attack that could add more young talent in the upcoming draft. Wide Receiver James Bishop is the veteran of the team, but Laszlo Forty-Two and tight end Armor King are more young talented pieces in the passing game. On defense, the Yeti's defensive cornerstones are all a long way from regression. The run defense, lead by defensive tackle Bubba Thumper (returning after briefly flirting with free agency) and linebacker Mo Berry, allowed only 104.4 yards per game, best in the NSFC and 3rd best in the league. The secondary is lead by veteran safety Logan Lejune, and includes interception machine Quentin Sinclair and an exciting pair of young defensive backs, Season 18 first round picks Louisiana Purchase and Pete Parker. With this much young talent, the Yeti may not see another season with a losing record for quite a while. 16) Unsung Hero What hero could be more unsung than a kicker or punter? Well, maybe an offensive lineman. But still, I want to explore the special teams play of Orange County Otters kicker/punter Alex Dasistwirklichseinnachname during this playoffs and see how much of a (hidden) impact he had. Alex D a solid regular season, missing only two extra points and one field goal (which was over 50 yards), and finished with the most points scored in the leage. However, Alex really shined as a punter, leading the league with an average of 48.5 yards per punt. In the semifinal against rival Arizona, Alex was not brought on for any field goal attempts, but made all three of his extra point attempts. Alex did contribute 10 punts for an average of 46.5 yards, including one 64 yarder and an impressive 3 punts downed inside the opposing 20 yard line. In the Ultimus, Alex missed an extra point in the first quarter, but made his only field goal attempt, a 47 yard attempt in the third quarter. Alex again shined brightly in the punting game, with a 51.0 yard average on 9 punts, including a 64 yard long and one punt downed inside the 20. The missed extra point could have easily led to disaster for Orange County, as they held on to only a 6 point margin of victory. However, Alex's strong punting performance flipped the field enough to give the Otter's defense enough margin for error and Orange County held on for another Ultimus victory.

6) Our Time It is my rookie season in the DSFL and the Portland Pythons find themselves in the Ultimini against the San Antonio Marshals. Not many people thought the San Antonio Marshals stood a chance against the Tijuana Luchadores, which rightfully so went 13-1 on the season. But their defense stood tall and held the best regular season DSFL team to only 10 points through four quarters. Punching their ticket to the Ultimini. San Antonio once again found they were the underdogs. Something that helped light a fire under their asses all season to get to this point. So Portland was definitely not going to take them lightly or underestimate them. But they have been telling themselves all season that this was their year. With two sensational rookies in Kacey Dream and Sean O'Leary helping lead the way on each side of the ball. They just knew with 60 minutes of honest hard work that they could be walking off the field champions. The veteran quarterback Cue was all business and capitalized on every chance he got. Leading his team to a Ultimini Championship. Cue most likely earned himself another MVP award for an already dominate DSFL career. Shoutout to the San Antonio Marshals on a fantastic season. I know you came up short on the ultimate goal, but be proud on what you accomplished this season, build off it and come back with a vengeance. 12) Sit-down with a star Frick_Nasty 1.Your Colorado Yeti finished the season 5 and 8. Was this above or below expectations? And do you think that you will be better next season? The record was never the goal it was just about getting the wins to reach the playoffs again. Last season we came up short. This year we were 4-3 sitting good in our division. We lost 5 straight games and needed to win to get in our last game against San Jose. Some of those games I felt we should have won but that’s in the past. I think next season the Yeti have a shot to make a run for the ultimus. We have one of the youngest teams in the NSFL so our window is just opening. 2. Who on your team stood out to you this season? What about their play and/or leadership helped the team? Honestly I am so proud of everyone on this team as we all improved tremendously. If I was to pick one person though I think it would be Armor King. He may have only increased his total yardage by 100 or so but his YPC was greatly increased this season. I fully expect him make another jump next season, as he gets tougher to go against in practice every week. 3. The Colorado Yeti had a tough first round match up against the Baltimore Hawks. What can we expect from the Yeti if and when they make the playoffs next year? I think next season we will not have to go into an opposing teams stadium in the first round giving us an advantage in the first round. Most of the teams are getting older past their prime while we are all entering our prime right now. 4. I want to talk about your player specifically. Looking at the end of the season stats, you had yourself a hell of a season. Second in the league in sacks with 10, 92 tackles and 1 interception. What is it going to take to replicate that success and even elevate your game to the next level? Honestly I think I had one of the best defensive seasons in the league this year. I forced 3 turnovers, created a safety and had a pick six. I am not done yet because there are still parts of my game that I can improve such as my fluidity in my hips and my cardio. I hope that next season I will be able to not miss a beat on every single play. I will be playing at a 100 for the whole 60 minutes to help my defense win games. I’d say look for my tackles to be in the 100s, double digit sacks, and more turnovers. 13) Sit-down with a fan dieselj123 1. You finished your first season in the DSFL and what a ride it was. We will get to your personal stats in a moment, but tell me about how it feels to win a championship in your rookie season and to be a big part in helping your team get there? Yeah the feeling is surreal and if I am being honest, it's hard to put into words. Obviously the goal is to win every season, but nothing is a guarantee. We have so many leaders on our team and it seemed like we all were stepping up every game. And to see all our hard work pay off in a championship. UNREAL! 2. Looking back on the rookie season you just had, do you feel that you met your expectations? Well I mean, I just wanted to give everything I had to this team. It started with the right mind set and never taking a day off. Looking at the numbers I produced, I am very happy with my performance. I think many rookies will tell you they would love to have that level of success at this stage in their careers. 3. What are your thoughts on the draft? Do you have a preference on where you go? I am extremely excited for draft day. I think with how the DSFL draft went, my expectations are tempered. Actually no! I feel that any team that takes a chance on me has earned my loyalty. I am a team first kind of guy. I want to do everything in my power to help win a championship. 4. Rumors are that your close friend and teammate, Jake Dropson is going to be called up next season. How do you feel about that and how do you think that will effect yours and the Pythons offensive game? Yeah, I mean I knew this day would come. But I am happy for him. It's been a blast to learn from him and win a championship, but he is going to tear it up in the NSFL. As for me, I am excited to be the Pythons #1 wide receiver. Not sure if we will have as dangerous of a tandem as Dropson and I next season, but we should be just fine offensively. [OPTION]Height: 6'3"

1) Playoff Predictions, Reviews:
A review of the Ultimus: Is anyone even a little bit surprised? Like ya, Yellowknife has the better team, wears the freshest clothes, and hangs out with the hottest dudes, but can we really pretend like we’re surprised? Of course the Otters won it again. Orange County could straight up decline to field a team in the Ultimus and still come out on top. Meanwhile Yellowknife could bring in literally every single free agent on the market and still find a way to lose a playoff game. I have never seen a team so categorically better than every other team in the league struggle the way Yellowknife does. It’s like they watched the S14 Marshals and decided they could do better. I love my boys in Yellowknife, but of course the Otters would win the 4000th Ultimus, which is super impressive given that it’s only been 18 seasons. Back in S16 (maybe? I don’t remember and I’m on an airplane so can’t check) the Otters lost a super high percentage playoff game and (almost) the whole team was fine moving on. I didn’t realize why they could move past it do easily at the time, but it’s because they know they’re just gonna win the following season, or at the very least, the season after that. 10) Rivalries If I’m being honest, being on this aforementioned airplane unable to look up stats hinders my ability to write these. I mean no ill will towards OCO, but they’re way too easy to write hit pieces about. Orange County is overrated and big mean. They come trouncing in with talks of “oh no this is a rebuilding year for us” and win the whole ass thing. Orange County is the kid the finishes a test half an hour early, tells all their friends about how poorly they did, and ends up getting a 98%. I don’t know if it’s Spec or just the sim, but for some reason OCO is too big to fail in this league. The rest of us have to scrounge for scraps while they sit atop their ivory towers looking down upon us, surrounded by trophy upon trophy. I’ve done the testing. They can’t possibly be THIS good every time. And yet, I’m always disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, they’re a very solid team, but like, NOLA are favourites in home games against them, and we didn’t even make playoffs. Also, they hurt my man Maj way back in the day and that blood feud will never go away. They can’t keep getting away with it. 17) Robbed In a stark change to what we saw in this league even as recently as 2 seasons ago, the ASFC is the much stronger conference. That also means that it’s much harder to make the playoffs, since we had 3 legitimate contenders who could’ve placed 2nd and 3rd. NOLA was one of those, but because the sim gods hate NOLA almost as much as [REDACTED], we ended up with a 5-8 record and finishing outside the playoffs. Now, I could go down the rabbit hole of saying we lost 2 games we were strong favourites, one where we slightly had the edge, and a coin flip game. But blaming the sim, while comforting, doesn’t get me anywhere. The fact of the matter is that there’s one person to blame for NOLA’s lack of success this season. Forrest Gump. This bastard can’t be in two places at once no matter how fast he goes so we can’t run a backfield by committee, we’re instead stuck with this dumb idiot carrying the ball pretty much any time we have to run. That is way too much focus on a talentless hack, and that’s the reason NOLA was robbed from making this year’s playoffs. If only there was some possible free agent running back on the market. 19) OL Appreciation Technically speaking only 1 player OL actually made in into the playoffs this season, Edmond Beaver-Dantes of the Austin Copperheads. Beaver has been the left tackle of the long sneks since he was called up, and has been doing a damn good job representing the big boys in the trenches. In his playoff debut, Edmond stood firm, not allowing anyone to sack his quarterback Easton Cole on any of his 54 drop backs. In addition, he planted the opposing defender on the ground a few times with 4 pancake blocks. Regrettably, the rest of the line wasn’t as admirable, as Cole was sacked 4 times on the day. One person I also want to highlight who isn’t strictly offensive line is Peter Larson. Last on his team in receiving yards, but #1 in cakes with 5 and not allowing anyone past him for a sack. If more people on Austin played as well as their proud blockers, perhaps they could’ve come out of this game as the victors. For too long the league has allowed bots to take the jobs of real men, and this playoff game is a perfect illustration of why that is such a mistake. Beaver was out there stomping on fools, but you need a full unit of a line to really be successful. Lining up next to bots is uninspiring, and you’ll never have the chemistry with them that you need to have on the OL. [OPTION]===========================================

7) Next year Written: If your team has been eliminated, why will the next year, or the year after that, be the year that your team is going to win the Ultimus or Ultimini. My team is the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers and we only won two games this year overall, and we were not able to make the playoffs in the DSFL. In the next few years opportunity will open up for the Bucs as we look for a playoff run. For one reason the possible players coming back next year would be better and more skilled next year. My player included, the running back QT, will probably be coming back next year and through the course of that year will be able to hit the cap for DSFL and therefore might be in contention for RBoty and possibly even MVP for the DSFL. Another player coming back could be Sweet James Jones, one of the best receivers of the year in the DSFL and can only get better next year as they add tpe to their build. I can’t speak to the defense, but I know that we added players last year that will get better next year and possibly make our defense one of the better defenses in the league. I also don’t know entirely about the other teams in the league, but they are probably going to lose more players than the Bucs, so they will be losing talent while the Bucs will be growing the talent from inside the organization. (220 words) 3) All about the QBs Written: Write 200 words on one of the QB matchups in this year's playoffs. What are you most excited to see (Or excited to have seen), who will play better (Or who played better), etc. For my QB comparison I decided to go with the championship game for the DSFL with the QBs from the Marshals and the Pythons. Zack Vega is the QB for the Marshals and Jay Cue for the Pythons. Jay Cue completed 61%, rounded up, of his passes with 17/28, and Zack Vega completed 13/27 for a mere 48% of his passes. This puts Cue in the lead for QBs in this matchup and the other stats for the game pretty much all do the same. With those completions comes the yards and Cue won in the yard category with 221 yards passing to Vega’s 122 yards. Cue threw for two touchdowns and no picks while Vega threw one touchdown and two picks, another with for Cue. The ratings of 109.4 for Cue beats 42.5 for Vega too. The average yards for each pass also favored Cue with an average of 13 yards for him and 9.4 for Vega. Even in the rushing numbers for the QBs it favored Cue over Vega with Cue having 21 yards and Vega getting 16 yards total rushing. With Cue winning most, if not all, of the QB battles in the game it is not surprising that the Pythons won 23-10 over the Marshals. (209 Words) Since I’m already over 200 words I want to give a shoutout to my buddy Cort (Kacey Dream) who had a pass defended in the game and won a Ultimini, congrats! 14) That Magic Moment Writen: Pick one moment from a playoff game and describe what made it so amazing to watch. Easily the most magic moment from the DSFL playoff was when the Marshals defeated the highly favored Luchadors. The moment in the game that was the magic moment was when Ruff Ruff ran in a 1-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. The run itself wasn’t magic the magic part was that this put the Marshals up 17-10 and put them up for good in the game. The Marshals have some of the best backs in the DSFL and they showed off with both of them going for over 100 yards and each getting a touchdown for the game. One of the shocking moments that led to this lead changer was the unsportsmanlike conduct from Lopez on the Luchadors that put the Marshals into Luchadors territory and set them up to win the game. It was so amazing to watch because the Luchadors were heavily favored in only losing one game on the season before this game, the Marshals came into the game with a below .500 record and hoping they could just hang in during this game. The last drive was amazing to watch too with the Luchadors having to go for it on a fourth down and ending up not converting on that fourth down, sealing the win for the Marshals. (212 words)

Task: Sit-down with a Star
Mack Arianlacher interviewed Franklin Armstrong 1. How does it feel to have won the Ultimus for the second season in a row? It feels lucky. We weren’t supposed to win it last season as we struggled in my rookie season with an overall record of 7-6. We needed to win two road games to win the Ultimus. We ended up getting to the Ultimus and I ended up having my best game of Season 17 in the game’s biggest stage. Likewise, this season we weren’t supposed to go into Yellowknife in cold weather against an 11-2 team and beat them to win our second straight…but we did. It feels nice not having one, but two Ultimus trophies. I’ve won at every stage of the game. 2. What is your favorite thing about playing for the Orange County Otters? Our locker room culture exudes a commitment to excellence. Everyone in that lockerroom Is on the hunt for more Ultimus’s. The hunger never ceases. Call it “The Otters Way”. 3. What team are you always excited to play? I always love going up against my old DSFL rivals, Havran and Bigsby, who play for the Hawks and Wraiths respectively. Beating them on the way to back to back Ultimus’s was too good to be true. 4. If you ever decide to move franchises, where would you go? I’d rather retire than leave the Otters but if forced to choose, I’d probably go with the Austin Copperheads because they’re another snake team. I played for the Cobras and the Pythons and playing for the Copperheads makes too much sense. 5. Who do you think will go first overall in the draft? I have no clue. I haven’t followed the draft much at all this season but there’s this dude called Mack Arianlacher that I’d really like on the Otters. I don’t care who goes first, just get this monster (you) on the Otters and I’d be happy. Task: Sit-down with a fan Mack Arianlacher sat down with Franklin Armstrong (@moonlight) Mack Arianlacher 1. How have you liked the DSFL so far? Mack's answer: The DSFL is a fantastic place to be able to train myself and learn more about the league. It's definitely been a big part in my love for the league and especially being on a hyper-active team in the Luchadores has helped me acclimate to the league in a big way. 2. What do you like about the position of LB? Mack's answer: I love the fact that I'm involved in almost every single play. Like, although the fact that I play on the strongest defensive definitely cuts into my hits that I can lay down, I still get a lot of big plays. More so than any other position, the linebacker position puts me in the best position to take advantage of opportunities. 3. Are you someone who values rings or stats? Or both? Mack's answer: Honestly, both. I want to be a DPotY, but I also want to make the Hall and to make the Hall, you got to have the rings. Additionally, I want to contribute to my team a lot. That means some stats pumping as well. 4. Where do you think you'll land in the draft? Mack's answer: I have a couple of teams that I would like, but I really hope I go early in the draft. Some mocks have me going first overall, which is awesome and is always something to be excited about, especially as this is my first create in the league. However, no matter where I go, I think I'll be happy! Task 14, Graphic: Magic Moment Task X: PBE PT, 1 Task Credit!

Written: Give a short write up of one or multiple playoff matches. If completed before the airing of the sims have predictions, after if it is a review of the game. Graphic: Make a graphic displaying the matchups in the playoffs. If completed before sim, predict scores and show stats, if after, give a summary of game showing stats and top performers. In the first playoff game, the Baltimore Hawks have crushed the Colorado Yeti, 31-0. The Yeti offense didn’t show up. Wolfie McDummy played poorly that night. He had only 14 passes completed out of 37 throws. He also threw two interceptions. He had the lowest interception during the regular season but tonight he had the most. He also lost 4 yards while trying to run with the football. Speaking of running, their rookie running back, Michael Vincent played way better than Terry Taffy. Vincent was the best running back during the game. Taffy is one of the best runners in the league but he was terrible that day. Corvo Havran had a great game. He had one touchdown pass and no turnover. He was sacked only once. The Hawks defense was impressive. They have sacked Wolfie McDummy five times! Their backfield were great with 2 interceptions in the game. Baltimore defense has struggled this year but they show up, the team wins. Colorado wasn’t able to score a single point against that defense. It was a one sided match in the first round of the playoffs. Hopefully the Hawks defense shows up in Yellowknife because the Wraiths are the best in offense.

Written: Give a short write up of one or multiple playoff matches. If completed before the airing of the sims have predictions, after if it is a review of the game. The Portland Pythons beat fan favorite underdogs San Antonio Outlaws 23-10 to win the Ultimini. The Outlaws came out firing and grabbed a quick 7-0 lead but then went cold and didn't score again until late in the 4th quarter. The Outlaws normally solid defense was gashed as the Pythons put over 400 yards and only allowed 1 sack, and 3 tackles for loss. The Pythons had 2 sacks and caused 3 turnovers, never allowing the Outlaws to get into sync. On offense Python's QB Cue had 2 TDs and a passer rating of 109.4 while the Outlaw's QB Vega had 1 TD and 2 INTs and a QB rating of 42.5. Both teams ran the ball well, with both team's top 2 RBs averaging over 4.5 yards per carry. A glaring difference between the 2 teams is that the Outlaws had 7 rookies including their QB while Portland only had 2. It really came down to passing and turnover as all the other categories were fairly close. Portland had 45 more rushing yards on 6 more carries, San Antonio had 2 more penalties but 5 minutes more in time of possession. All in all the Outlaws were over matched and the young team couldn't cause another upset. 8) Draft Focus Written: What areas of your team has the biggest holes that you are hoping get filled in the upcoming S19 draft? What round are you hoping it’s filled? I think when you look at the San Antonio Outlaws the biggest need will be on defense. They are more than likely losing star DE Mike Franchet who was one of the DSFL leaders in sacks and TFLs. Replacing him won't be easy, with how well some members of the defense have played this year there might be multiple holes to fill. With a somewhat deep defensive class were 10 of the 27 rookies this year being on the defensive side of the ball, that means the Outlaws should be able to pick up a rookie defensive playmaker if that's were they decide to go. Fans should trust San Antonio's GMs as they made out like bandits last draft, getting 4 big time impact player with all four of their draft picks. Also if they could snag a good RB prospect to fill the hole of Hanyadi and potentially Ruff Ruff that would go along way with helping out 2nd year QB Zach Vega. After that should be all defense though as the team has holes at DT, LB and both Safety spots but having some rookies that could develop at those positions should help ease the burden. If the Outlaws have another successful draft like they just had look for them to make some waves in the playoffs once again. 14) That Magic Moment Writen: Pick one moment from a playoff game and describe what made it so amazing to watch. It only takes one play to completely change a game, and that's what happened in the San Antonio Tijuana playoff game. Late in the 3rd Quarter Tijuana defender Zach Bailey intercepts San Antonio QB Zack Vega. After getting down to the San Antonio 25, the Outlaws hold the Luchadores to a 39 yard FG which is missed. What follows will go down in Outlaws history as one of the best runs in its history. RB Mathieus Hanyadi takes the hand off, finds a hole and bursts through for a 78 yard TD run. Why was this run such a big deal? The Outlaw offense hadn't done anything all game long and was down 10-3 before the play, the run inspires the Outlaw team as the defense shuts down Tijuana for the rest of the game and gives the offense two drives later the confidence to go down the field and score the game winning TD. This was a 10 point swung that helped the Outlaws make the Ultimini against all odds. Tijuana came into this game only losing one game which ironic enough was against San Antonio, the Outlaws came into the with a losing record. It took one little sequence to flip the entire playoffs on its head. SHL CW for 1 task
