5) Offseason Needs
Written: Write about what positions your team needs to address in the offseason for it to be successful. (NOTE - Please do not mention actual players under contract. Tampering exists)
The fifth skill position. No secret that we lost a legendary player and amazing bloke in Run during the last off-season, I appreciated his skills this season from afar with him on my fantasy team, but I missed him both in the field and in the lockerroom. Now what we need and have needed is that 5th weapon for the offence to really click into gear. We have the superstar WR and RB, we have the up and coming WR and we have the super solid TE, so what we need is literally anything else! A third WR or a maybe a receiving TE to be our slot reciever, or maybe a second running back with a set of capable hands.
Free agency offers some possibly interesting options at WR at least, and maybe RB. Although running back being a fairly simple position to gain a good footing with, we might be better served using one of our first round picks to grab one of the top prospects from the draft at running back. Tight end could be interesting. I haven't seen any stand out prospect yet though. But the idea of running 21 personal could be very interesting in combination with a west coast style short pass run heavy scheme
