I would just like to show my appreciation to the community and how helpful FleshBagSoup has been with the rookie process. As an aspiring rookie, I hope that when day when I’ve gained enough experience I too can help other rooks that may think this process is daunting.
I would like to shout out my old teammate Salvon Ahmed who’s getting ready to join the NFL. Salvon was one of the most elusive and speedy backs I have gotten to know. Trust me I’ve played against some of the best backs during college and none of them gave me as much struggle as Salvon did. Salvon was the one who let me become the player I am today getting ready to join the NSFL. We always told each other we would go to the pros, and now it may actually come true. The work ethic from him was contagious and spread throughout the locker room. All the extra days and hours put into practice eventually paid off and there are no other ways to express my gratitude, other than to become one of the very best defensive ends the NSFL has ever seen. I hope that Salvon too can become one of the top draft picks in next year’s NFL draft. Best of luck Salvon show them whose boss and I’ll do my thing too.
Mr. Gregor Macgregor deserves a lot of recognition this season when awards come out. He might not win any awards, but with his amount of tackles it shows that he is clearly a force on the Portland defense this previous season. The Pythons may not have been the best team, but Macgregor was one of the best tackling Linebackers that the DSFL has seen. He had 32 more tackles than the next closest player and had 176 in the season. It’s not the record, but it’s an insane amount of tackles and for him to have that many deserves a lot of recognition. He was a bright spot on a team that had struggles, and he definitely helped his draft stock by showing that he is an absolute machine when it comes to tackling. His other stats might not be the best, with 1 forced fumble, 1 tackle for loss, 2 sacks, and 2 passes defended, but he was able to command and conquer the middle of the field and make sure players didn’t get past him this previous season. Macgregor was the best player on the defense for the Pythons this season, and that deserves recognition even if it isn’t an award win this season. (206 words)
