Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Sun Devil Talks, the show were I bring in the talent coming out of the Sun Devil University of Arizona State to have a chat about what they are doing, how they are doing, and what they want to do coming up in the future. I'm your host [REDACTED], and I am here joined by our Long Haired Legend, Starting Running Back, and truly a wonderful prospect that ALL DSFL teams should be looking at, Nicholas Ayers. Hey Nick, how are you doing today?
Well, I am certainly doing just great sir, how about yourself?
Just great, thank you for asking. So first question, what are you expecting to do in the upcoming weeks a draft prospect for the DSFL? Are you, say Nervous, or Excited, or whatever? Talk to me about it.
Well, I have honestly no clue what is gonna be happening the next couple weeks. I have no clue which team is going to pick me, no clue where I'm gonna go, no clue where I'm gonna fall in the draft order or frankly anything else that has to do with the draft. All I am frankly doing right now is trying to get my name out to as many teams as possible, maybe plant a seed into their brain about who they should pick up sitting behind their Quarterback. My emotions right now are frankly all over the place, I'm nervous, excited, calm, emotional, etc. And I just wanna do great. Make my state proud, coached proud, and my team proud.
Well good for you buddy. What would you say is the culture that is being set up when it comes to prospects and current players in the D/NSFL?
You know, the culture...Is actually damn good. As a rookie, I have been making my way around the league in ways that I've never ever have been doing before. I'm frankly happy that there are people such as NSFL Commissioner Bex and all the GMs and Rookie Mentors, that put up with my stupid antics and my mistakes. I believe that rookies here are in for a treat once they get their stuff straight and on course to success.
Well said. One last question for you. Who would you credit your success too at the end of the day?
Wow, there are so many people to thank really. My mom and dad for putting up with my antics and barbaric attitudes as I get destroyed on the field every day, My coaches in High School for believing in me, a skinny little kid that could only play an instrument or two, my coaches in College for caring about me and treating me like a true blue member of the ASU crew, and also to the current GMs and higher ups that are reaching out to me and showing their interest in who I am as a person. Too many people to thank, and clearly not enough time to do it all in one sitting.
Well thank you so much for coming out to talk Nick, and I'm sure that you must get back on the grind.
Yes sir. Thank you.
Well that jsut about wraps things up for today. Thank you for reading, and good luck Nick!
