Well, it has been a little while since I last posted a Post-Game Conference. I love having the rush of emotions captured immediately but I also need the money that comes with writing multiple weeks of press conferences to fund the pursuits of Harrif Ernston and crew. As you probably already know, oh boy those pursuits are flying high, but I'm going to do my best to try and make this one my best to date. Wish me luck, and thanks for reading. I honestly appreciate views more than the money I get. Haha, that's actually why I love reddit, the upvotes I get!
Anyways, without further hold up, Harrif Ernson Linebacker #52's Post-Game Press Conferences for weeks 6-7, 8, 9, and 10!
Oh, and I'll be combining weeks 6 and 7 because they are the same opponent. So it'll discuss weeks 6 and 7 but it's after week 7.

After Week 7
H- Well, its been two weeks now. Hope you guys didn't miss we too much, haha.
Cameraman 2 - *underbreath* Not at f***ing all.
R2 - *whispers* Dude, shut up.
H - Well, I am ready to take questions at any time.
R1 - Good to see you back podium side, always good to hear from you. Let's talk performance, you guys had pretty strong wins in both weeks against the SaberCats. I know most of us here would expect that from your team but I win goes far in the indication of a good team. You guys played great defensively, securing 12 sacks, 2 fumbles and 2 recoveries, 9 Tackles for losses, 9 Passes defended, 2 interceptions, a safety, 2 defensive touchdowns, and even a punt block in that 2 week period. Lights out. The problem was the offensive side of the football, specifically the passing game, but the running game dipped in week 6 as well. 0 Passing touchdowns in week 6, a QBR for Draxel of 49.9, a completion percentage barely above 50%. Then in week 7 a QBR of 55.2 and a comp. percentage under 50%. What can you say to that?
H - Execution, really. I mean some weeks are just off weeks but it also comes down to execution. We have to execute well on both sides of the ball. We can't have a phenomenal defense and tank on offensive or have an amazing offensive game and play the crappiest defense the league has ever season; like we did week 5. It was good to come out with 2 W but we have to keep getting better.
R2 - I was wondering about the team dynamics after you offense played so poor, as you have put it.
R2 - I was wondering like... uh... how its going with different players. Who is taking it the hardest?
Cameraman 2 - *underbreath* Probably Draxel's ass, because, as we all know; he trash...
Cameraman 3 *hears him*
H - *quickly look at cameramen but ignores them* No....no. We are all a team, we encourage each other. We all know what is expected of us, so yeah, I do believe Draxel is taking this hard and being hard on himself. Yet, he knows he needs to do that so he gets better. I am very confident in saying that moving forward he is going to play better and we'll continue winning.
R3 - So, when should we be expecting for Draxel to pack his bags are exit the ship?
H - Ok, I really don't think you guys understood what I was saying. We stand behind our teammates, Draxel is our man. He isn't going anywhere after these games. We are going to lead up once again and preform at even higher levels than ever before.
R4 - Let's be frank here. You guys have a talented defense, and despite having unremarkable average pass rushers. Still, how long can your offense expect to ride on the coattails of you defense? Facing the Yeti's and the Otters again is that far in the future. Can we really expect to see this team make a deep run in the playoffs without an actual functioning offense, because honestly, I have not seen a functioning offense don the Outlaws gear on game-days.
H - I really don't want to continue to argue this point any longer. We'll show you why we are going to win the Ultimus at the end of this season.
Cameraman 4 - *gasp* You guys, can't... it just won't happen.
H - *gets up* Just watch us. *walks out of media room*
Week 8
Inside the media room:
Cameraman 2 - AND HE WAS LIKE *imitates deep serious voice* "JUST WATCH US, RAWR!"
Cameraman 2, 3, 4 and R2, R3, R4 - *hysterical laughter*
Cameraman 1 and R1 - *giggling* Chill out.... heh... he's gonna be here soon. Hmmrh...
H- (Outside Media-room) Just what I need...
H - (Walks in) Ok, let's get this started. I want quick questions, not long drawn out personal opinions I have film to go back and watch.
Cameraman 2 - *stiffling laughter*
R1 - What do you think when wrong?
H - Penalties, Offensive turnovers, not forcing defensive turnovers, allowing a team like that to score on a team like us every SINGLE quarter, allowing pressure on the quarterback, did I already say penalties?!
R2 - So are you putting bl--
H - Re-phase that please.
R2 - Uh, do you feel it's because of the penalty on Rashad, I. for unnecessary roughness which caused you guys to lose the game?
H - In the end sure, in the big picture, no. We definitely did not play the way we needed to on both sides of the ball in order to win. We made too many critical mistakes when we just couldn't. We did not show that we were the better team out there. They did so they deserve the win.
R3 - What needs to happen? Does someone need to step down?
H - The Outlaws need to come together and re-evaluate what went wrong this game. We just can not have these things happening. I was very disappointed in today's results and disappointed in my play and my inability to effect the outcome of this game.
R4 - I shouldn't have to tell you what I think...
H *glares at R4*
R4 - and I won't. The only thing I ask is where does it go from here? Otters, Monday night. They just beat the SaberCats 35-7, they went and show their might. It can only go downhill from here? Right?
H - You are.... you are so right. It can only go down hill for those Otters, we are bouncing back and we will prove that we are the best team in the NFSL. I won't allow anymore bad games, I will see to it that we come out on top. I am going to be a playmaker for this team. We are going all the way!
Cameraman 2 - Pretty bold...
H - And we will back it up. Have a nice rest of your day. *leaves*
Cameraman 2:
Week 9
The Arizona Outlaws proved it was no fluke taking down the Otters in week one as they easily held back the Otters offense and got their offense rolling for a 19-7 victory.
H - Oh boy, bout to kill this conference. Bout to show those stupid reports, especially R4; and that stupid Cameraman 2.
Cameramen 2, 3 and 4 :
Oh boy, here he comes.
H - (Pushes doors wide open in his enterance) HELLO everyone! I was JUST thinking about this meeting with ya'll believe it or not! Oh, I am very excited to be taking questions today. Very EXCITED!
R1 - As you should be, your team had a very interesting showing. It was definitely not a top tier team showing...
H-
.......but it was good enough to get you a win, and points in garbage time. How did you feel you performed?
H - Hmm... well I think I played alright. Still, I know I benefited from the Defensive Line challenging their O-Linemen. I also benefited from the turnovers I. Rashad created. I do think we still have a ways to go. We did allow a lot of longer passes, but we will only continue to improve. I am certain of this.
R2 - So is all forgiven of Rashad's personal foul vs the Hawks?
H - I was never mad at him in the first place.
Cameraman 2 - *in his mind* BULLSHIT!!
H - We didn't do enough to win that one, but we did in this game. That is really what matters at this point.
R3 - So, how do you guys plan to combat the "New and improved" SaberCats? They just beat the Colorado Yeti's 30 to 17....
H - Wait, what? For real? Wow...
Cameraman 3- Really R3?
R3 - Yes, I find it hard to believe myself. This Ethan Hunt is looking like an elite Quarterback, what can your team do about it?
H - Well, we specialize in shutting down Quarterback so I am no super worried. Really, all we have to do is go out and execute. Play are best game of the season. If we do that, we can win that games; and any game for that matter.
R4 - What makes that game interesting is that it holds playoff implications. If you win, you advance to the Post-Season. If you lose, and come on this team beat the Yeti's, you guys are taking an L. If you lose the hunt for the playoff spot gets harder. What do you feel will happen?
H - Dude, it's been 9 full weeks. You should know what I am going to say, WE ARE WINNING THAT GAME. No matter the small change they have made, the SaberCats are NOT BETTER than the ARIZONA OUTLAWS . We are going to win that game, just watch.
R4 - Remember what happened that last time you said that?
H - Remember what I said last week "I won't allow anymore bad games, I will see to it that we come out on top." I meant it. We will win. Just watch.
R4 - *smiles*
H - *leaves*
Week 10
H:
I'm BACK GUYS!
AND I AM HELLA READY FOR MORE QUESTIONS!
R1 - We'll try to makes these quick as not to hold you from your teams "into the playoffs" celebrations. Any comments on your offenses performance?
H - Two comments; phenomenal and "I told you so". Draxel came out and balled out. For the whole week that dude was talking about us making the playoffs week 10. He said we wanted to deliver, and he did. Great job to him, I tip my hat to him.
R2 - What about the defense, were you disappointed in the lack of big plays?
H - Not too much, we didn't go out there and allow big plays so I am happy about that. We kept them out of the endzone for two whole quarters so that is good. We executed well, and that is what I am most proud off. We executed on both sides of the ball versus a strong team. Props to Ethan Hunt, he's really made that crew his own and they all believe in him.
R3 - Are you happy you guys don't verse the SaberCats again? Do you see them making the playoffs?
H - I mean it could happen, it would be hard though. If they kept winning and the Otters kept sucking, which wouldn't be hard for them, then yeah. The SaberCats could make the Post-Season. Still, it's a long shot.
R4 - ...
H - And no random comments from the Cameramen? Wow... interesting.
Cameraman 2 - *silence*
R4 - Congratulations on making it to the Post-Season. If someone had told anyone in this room that the Arizona Outlaws would be the first team guaranteed into the playoffs no one would have believed you, except for yourself. Funny thing is that you have been telling us that all along.
Anyways, my question is where do you go from here?
H -
Ah, thank you. Well, we just have to keep improving and proving we are the top dog. We aren't in the Post-Season yet and we haven't won the Ultimus yet. I still have to become that play-maker that I have been promising you guys, as well. We have great opportunities coming up too. Yeti, Otters, Yeti, Otters. *Low voice* What the f***, who makes these schedules? Uhh... erehm... we just have to go out there and play. That's what we do best, we let our play back up our talking. I hope I have done that in these media sessions throughout the season.
It has been a blast thus far and I can't wait to see you guys again. As much as ya'll can annoy me sometimes, ya'll have grown on me this season. I don't think the Outlaws could have had the season that we have had without this "chip on our shoulder" given by the media. So I thank you, and hope you keep critically analyzing us in a FAR and HONEST way.
I hope that I can keep training hard, keep getting better, and by the time it's playoff time I'm in the best shape of my life and ready to be the Ultimate Athletic Coverage Linebacker you guys and gals have ever seen.
H - Thanks all for this session, see ya.
