Once again, it’s time to think positive about the league, but, also figure out where I could fit in.
NSFC:
Baltimore Hawks
The hawks have been one the leagues most successful franchises in the history of the national Simulation Football league, and they’ve also appeared in every playoffs since S17, where they reached the Ultimus but ended up on the wrong side of history. Duilio5 and Huskies311 are two very generous general managers, and are probably the main reason why the hawks were consistently a top team in the national Simulation Football league for many seasons, they have a young team, so I could easily fit there, but, they’re set on wide receiver so I’d most likely have to position switch in order to be drafted by them.
Chicago Butchers
The butchers are a team I still have a soft spot for, obviously because I was once not only a player for this team, but, the General manager of this franchise. This team does not deserve the harassment it has been receiving the for the past few seasons, the team is getting younger. The general managers are two returning users, BayleyIsland and Muford, one of the leagues newest power duos in the league, they have turned the future of this franchise back to new horizons. Wide Receiver is a need for this team, but, they’ll likely fill up that hole by calling up their send down WR, so the only way I could be picked up is by a position switch
Colorado Yeti
The Yeti have an interesting story, as they have been a roller coaster of a team throughout their history in the national Simulation Football league, but now, they probably have the strongest roster in the league, as of the time I’m writing this, they have not lost a single game yet! Their general managers are Frick and Woelkers, two good friends of mine, both of them have very similar philosophies to managing their franchise, they were pretty much a match made by heavenly beings. This team does have a noticeable hole at wide receiver, with their main guy due to regression, I can see myself going there for both as a WR and a position switch.
Philadelphia Liberty
The Liberty have been a staple of the league since they were one of the original expansion franchises, joining the national Simulation Football league in the second season. They’ve been known for the legendary season 7 championship run, and have been a consistent player team ever since that run. Their general managers are Hall and TubbyTim, two young, bright minded people who have pretty much set up the Liberty for a long playoff window ahead of them, guess they need shades for that because it’s so bright! With their main receiver aging, it’s very likely they’ll take their next generation receiver this draft, and it could be me.
Sarasota Sailfish
The sailfish are one of the two newest franchises who just joined the national Simulation Football league this season, and as of the time of this writing, they are defying all expectations and odds, and are in the fight for a playoff spot, something you would not expect from an expansion franchise. The General managers are Rain Delay and Frostbite, their experience both comes from the Myrtle beach buccaneers of the developmental Simulation Football league, in hopes that they can replicate their success in the national Simulation Football league. As an expansion franchise, they have some holes, and they will desire to find a future wide receiver in this draft.
Yellowknife Wraiths
The wraiths are another team that I have a soft spot for, obviously because they pretty much shaped me into the user I currently am, they taught me everything about the sim, and of course how to keep my positivity even when things are not so positive! The general managers are Flyeaglesfly, and shady, another group of friends that I admire and enjoy the presence of these two, and I aspire to make the league a better place by means of spreading kindness and confidence. This team also desires for a wide receiver and I would be down to return to the team who originally took a chance on me.
ASFC
Arizona Outlaws
The Outlaws are one the league’s young and up and coming franchises, who are almost just fresh off a franchise restructuring, and they have a bright future ahead of them, and of course they were the team that established themselves as the leagues first ever dynasty, a proud honor. Their general managers are Unicorn and Isidore, one of the newest general manager duos in the league, with the brightest ideas and good foundation to establish the next generation of Outlaws to create the next contender with. The Outlaws are pretty much set at the wide receiver position, so the only chance I get drafted by them is by a position switch.
Austin Copperheads
The Copperheads (or the long Sneks) are probably one of the leagues most consistent teams over the past few seasons, with playoff appearances over the past few seasons, and and a Ultimus in their first ever appearance as underdogs, you know there was something special for that team, even if it meant sacrifices were made. The general managers are Joe K and Mooty, my current general managers in the national Simulation Football league, they always manage to make me feel good everyday. On the terms of a wide receiver, the team is on a mixed spot, they have a potential hole, but they have the guys to fill it up.
Honolulu Hahalua
The other new kid on the block, the Hahalua are an expansion franchise, and their name is probably the most culturally inspired and original team names in the national Simulation Football league, and have been one again, defying all odds, something that all teams should reach for, even if they’re not there yet. The general managers are Raven and Dwyer, two of the original users from the very first national Simulation Football league draft back in the first season. Because the team is an expansion franchise, I’m open to playing at either my current position at wide receiver or, switch to a position of need for the team.
New Orleans Second Line
Our current Ultimus champion, the second line are probably the leagues best culture, just look at their recent draft picks, most of their draft picks fill a position, but they all have a connection, they all contribute to the culture of New Orleans, that can be contributed by Tom Hanks and Isastarcrossed, the General managers, for assembling this cultural juggernaut of a team, and there’s no signs that the mighty sound of the trumpets will not stop playing any time soon. The team does have a noticeable hole at the wide receiver, so they may consider drafting one in this upcoming draft.
Orange County Otters
The otters are probably the best team that stepped foot into the national simulation football league, they have been in every single playoffs since the beginning of the league, I admire their longevity in their continued success in the playoffs, which can be associated with their general managers, in laser and revolution, two young and fresh general managers, who bring the continued success for the franchise, and of course, the continued streak of playoffs and the commitment to excellence. The otters have a slight hole at wide receiver, so I think it’s more likely I switch out of the position if they draft me.
San Jose Sabercats
The final team I’ll review is the Sabercats, who in my opinion are going to be the leagues next dynasty because of their large draft hauls in the drafts, the team is stacked and focused on speed and youth, mainly assembled by their general managers in CKRoyal and Rradum, a mixture of young talent, and an original who came from the very first season of the national Simulation Football league, they have won an Ultimus in the fourteenth season with a similar squad. They are pretty much set at Wide Receiver, and the only chance they have to draft me is by me switching positions to where they desire.
