Gunner's career changing moment came back in college during his time with the Oregon Ducks. It's been mentioned in both my wiki page on in my Twitter profile. In a game his redshirt sophomore year, against their arch rival Washington Huskies. He scored the game clinching touchdown and did his best Randy Moss imitation and mooned the crowd. Only he didn't pretend to pull down his pants, he actually did. This resulted in his suspension for his entire junior year and as a result his draft stock plummeted. It forced him to return for his senior year where he showed his maturity and ability to play. His draft stock never really went back up to the hype coming out of his sophomore year as he was the 6th out of 7 available WR’s to be drafted in this past years DSFL draft. Gunner has had to show that his immaturity is behind him and continues to impress at London. Since being drafted, he’s moved up from WR3 to WR2 and has been invited to the Royals War Room and has a bank account of nearly $20m, only midway through the season. Mentally it’s been a long road for Gunner, but he’s hoping his current actions speak louder than his previous actions. So far so good as a professional player.
It was the summer after the New Orleans Second Line had won the season 21 Ultimus and I made a change to my archetype. Not a huge change, but it got me to the 100 Speed point instead of 95 Speed. I paid for the switch out of my own pocket because I thought it would help me and the team. No longer would I be burned by 100 Speed receivers anymore. As the top CB for the Second Line I knew I had to do whatever it took to be better. It actually ended up being a great decision as I ended up getting some interceptions for the first time in my career as a CB. I had previously only got interceptions when I had played at safety early in my career. I even had a 3 interception game which got me the award for Best Defensive Performance last season. In addition to that I won another award as well. No longer do I go whole seasons without getting any interceptions. I've got quite a few this year through 10 games. Now that my player is maxed out I'm excited to see what I can do these next few seasons before regression hits me hard.

Quote:Written Option: Reflect on one moment in your player’s career (childhood, college, DSFL, or NSFL) where they faced an important turning point - perhaps a season-ending injury, unexpected trade, position switch, or a difficult decision. How did your player’s reaction change the way that their career has unfolded? What ramifications has their choice or circumstance had on their future or on the league? Ne Mo, the starting Fish Tight End for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers, has had a number of moments in his young life that ended up being notable turning points in his career. This includes his mother passing away while Ne Mo was still just a young clown fish, meaning he was raised entirely by his dad - Marlin. This moment was quite influential, but it isn't the moment we will talk about. The major turning point in Ne Mo's desire to become a weaponized clown fish Tight End was when him and a bunch of his fish school friends were clowning around, and Ne Mo, who up until that point was a shy young fish, was dared to go "touch the butt". Ne Mo, deciding to puff his gills for once, went and touched the butt, yet was captured by a team of divers. Ne Mo was taken to a dentist office in Sydney, Australia, where he would often pass the time watching television. This is where Ne Mo fell in love with the game of football, and decided to use his slippery speed to becoming a world-class weapon in the passing game. Upon Merlin rescuing and reuniting with Ne Mo, Ne Mo told his dad what his career was going to be, and look at him now. (217 words)

The moment that had the biggest impact on Hanyadi's career was his first start, all the way back in college when he was at UMass. As I wrote in an article a couple of weeks ago, he was buried on the depth chart, being the fifth option for the team coming into his freshman year. But, several players transferring schools along with injuries to the two players ahead of him, meant that he'd get his chance to start against BYU. Up until that point, Hanyadi never saw himself being a professional football player. He just wanted to use a football scholarship as a method to fund his education, as he came from a strictly working-class family. That one game, combined with rumblings from coaches and analysts all around the NSFL, meant that he had a legitimate chance at going pro. Even if he didn't end up going to the big leagues, he could use his time in college to graduate with a degree in chemistry and go from there. After the players in front of him graduated, there was no going back. Hanyadi put in serious time dedicating himself to football, working privately with NSFL legend Boss Tweed and mastering his craft. If he never got that start versus BYU, Hanyadi would not be a pro.

As a young high school student in Shuchi'in Academy, Chika was set on running the gaming club and hopefully one day joining her parents in the government as a Japanese diplomat. It was a small dream of Chika’s to possibly try something else in music or sports but not much could be done when her parents told her that she would have to join them with her higher education. Toward the end of the high school years, she learned that her friends would be heading off to America to go to college which gave her the idea to leave behind her past as well to go make a new name for herself at any school offering for her to go. Chika left for the States against her father’s wishes to go on a volleyball scholarship to Georgia Tech for an education that even her parents could be proud of even if she sort of ran away from home. It did not take long for Chika to find a new sport though that gathered the people of the Atlanta hot spot where she learned all about American Football which was similar to the Japanese football she saw back home and played here or there but the crowds and cheering excited so much that she had to try out for the Yellow Jackets where she went on to become a successful quarterback.
