Hello NSFL! Happy Trade Deadline!
We’ve got some important announcements and project updates to share with you! The first one is one of my personal favourites!
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Name Change[/div]
As was passed in the S19 Rules Summit, the league is going to shed its unfortunate acronym and move forward with a new name:
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]The International Simulation Football League
[/div]
This new name should allow us as a league to better represent the diverse population of users and teams that do not reside in the United States, while providing a more modern, vibrant, and sleek appearance. You can read more about the design philosophies on @infinitempg’s Behance post. If you want access to high-resolution logo png files, click here.
Along with this change, we’re proud to announce a new way to get around work filters new website that you can go to in order to access your lovely forums:
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]http://forum.sim-football.com/[/div]
You will need to re-login here, but we hope it provides a new, more accessible way to access the league.
So let’s try again.
HELLO ISFL!
That feels really good to say. . . Anyway, on with our announcements!
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Offseason Excitement[/div]
As we gear up for the last weeks of the regular season and our special playoff and champions week, we want to let you know we are also getting ready for our next recruitment push! We’re excited to announce that we will be recruiting on r/nfl once again for the class of S25.
We announced the off-season schedule which can be found here! We are very excited to be able to pilot our new off-season schedule that is half a week shorter than previous years! To help keep the energy while the off-season progresses, we also will be hosting various off-season events hosted by members of the community! We’ll announce those when the specific events have been determined!
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Project Omnibus[/div]
As I’ve mentioned in previous updates, we’ve had a dedicated team that’s been hard at work to build out a custom website for the league! The project is led by our fearless duo of @Exilizer and @Lemon! Folks like @gargaroff and @KoltClassic among others have been collaborating to bring our league into a new era! Our goal is to be able to have custom features that encompass all elements of the league so that things are streamlined and efficient. We’re still in the early stages of development, but we’re so excited to roll out new features such as a new player creation tool, streamlined banking, and so so much more.
Here’s a little sneak peak of what’s to come, courtesy of our dear @KoltClassic
As a part of this process, as has been long promised, we are getting ready to. . .
MOVE OFF OF JCINK!
We are in the testing phase of forum migration and things have been looking very promising! We’re still working on finalizing our timeline for this process, but we’re getting closer day by day and will let you know when we have dates set.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Trading Cards[/div]
One thing we’re excited to announce is Dotts! Yes, that’s right, the ISFL is getting official trading cards! The current team has been hard at work to make cards for their launch as well as designing the dispersal method for these cards! More info regarding the Dotts launch will come in the off-season, but we wanted to let you know this is coming!
Here’s a message straight from the team themselves!

Here’s a message straight from the team themselves!
Quote:Dotts is a company created to make football trading cards for the National Simulation Football League. We have existed for about five weeks and in that time, we have managed to make cards for every player who has played at least two seasons in the NSFL from the S10 draft class onward, approximately 400 trading cards. In addition, Caltroit_Red_Flames created a website which will allow users to easily purchase cards and view their own and others’ collections. Each card features a picture of the player/render, their team and position and the company logo. Each card has two additional unique features: a border which indicates their peak TPE level, and a “sim dot,” essentially, a small circle on the card with the player’s number, as it would appear in the streamed games. We hope to launch this offseason and have packs of cards available for purchase with NSFL money. In the meantime, we have big plans to continue expanding. We hope to eventually have a card created for every player in league history. In addition, we will roll out specialty series featuring Hall of Fame players, award winners, and Ultimus champions, to name a few. In order to make our dreams of expanding a reality, we are looking to hire (for NSFL money) several additional talented graphics artists to help with our upcoming series as contractors on a per series basis. Keep an eye out for job listings to be posted this week. Reach out to mithrandir on Discord if you have any questions about applying. For the rest of you reading this, start stockpiling your cash! We hope to be open for business this offseason and plan on running an offseason event or two as well.
Best wishes,
Mithrandir - Dotts company CEO on behalf of the team
