Welcome to the fourth edition of Maple’s Money Picks!
Each game week, I’ll pick all of the ISFL games and I hopefully won’t regret keeping track of my record throughout the season. Each week, I'll designate one pick as my Maple's Money Pick which will be worth double points.
With a double header tonight, I almost forgot to add my Week 4 picks! We're 10-4 on the year, hoping to shoot the moon and rattle off 14 straight picks tonight.

Week 4
Orange County Otters (2-0) at Arizona Outlaws (0-2)
- If the Otters lose, we're throwing @Blasoon out of the Norfolk locker room. That's how confident I am in the tiny fur cuddlers against Arizona. The Outlaws are my money pick for Week 3, but fail to string together consecutive strong games. Go Otters, go!
Player of the Game: QB Suleiman Ramza
Colorado Yeti (1-1) at Baltimore Hawks (1-1)
- Call me crazy, but I'm starting off with back to back road picks here in Week 4. The Yeti are simply too talented for Baltimore, but I do think it will be close. Don't be surprised to see the Hawks take a lead into the final quarter, but some clutch offense will get it done for Coloardo.
Player of the Game: QB Wolfie McDummy
Yellowknife Wraiths (1-1) at New Orleans Second Line (1-1)
- New Orleans let me down in Week 2, but I like them to make the necessary adjustments and get a must win against the Wraiths. They'll need some elite offensive line play to open up holes for Toriki & Co. Close, but home field is enough to tip the scales.
Player of the Game: RB Marcella Toriki
Austin Copperheads (1-1) at New York Silverbacks (0-2)
- New York almost pulled the upset against Orange County and they'll get their first ever franchise win tonight against Austin. The Copperheads have been solid, but will need an otherworldly game from Zoe Watts to get the victory. I like Watts to find the endzone, but New York is too hungry for that first dub.
Player of the Game: RB Ashley Owens
Honolulu Hahalua (1-1) at San Jose Sabercats (1-1)
- This is the game of the week as we've got the defending champs facing off against a red-hot Hahalua team. Feed Jamar early and often, San Jose. The Sabercats will need to score 30+ to win, but I think they just out-do the powerful rushing attack from Honolulu.
Player of the Game: RB Jamar Lackson
Chicago Butchers (1-1) at Sarasota Sailfish (1-1)
- Sarasota is in "I'll believe it when I see it" mode. They've been horrid on offense, which will continue against the Windy City knife-wielders. Despite the home field advantage, the Chicago defense will make Sarasota look like fish out of water.
Player of the Game: QB George O'Donnell
$$$ MAPLE'S MONEY PICK $$$
Berlin Fire Salamanders (1-1) at Philadelphia Liberty (1-1)
- I've got Philadelphia winning both games in tonight's double header, thanks to their defense. I'm predicting a defensive score for the Liberty and multiple sacks. Keep an eye out for Jimi DeSoto as he continues to perform well in the City of Brotherly Love.
Player of the game: QB Brock Phoenix
