Using the information on the Wiki I will highlight a few teams that where especially successful in 2039, the season before the S26 guys were drafted into the ISFL
I did one like a month ago for 2038, and it was fun but i was too lazy to make it again.
2039 seems to be the return of the Big SEC schools, as the vast magority of the schools in my top 5 are SEC schools
Honorable Mention
Texas A&M
I can hear the shock already, the is a team that accomplished nothing in this season, besides a couple big wins against teams, however I would point out that this team had probably the greatest return duo in college history with both Derek Wildstar and Schumi Hulkenvettel both being heavily involved in the return game in the pro level aswell as in college. While neither were able to life A&M into winning anything, they gave A&M fans something to cheer for. Wildstars iconic "Pounce on that Bounce" play against Baylor will ensure Wildstars legacy on the college level
5
Miami
A team that was Cursed with offensive injuries, with star WR Mario Messi falling into a coma and tearing his ACL (the fact that he was able to bounce back to become an ISFL 2nd rounder is quite the story), however the defense at the U was clearly not lacking at all, with DT Primo Berto and LB Ty Tyson terrorizing opposing QBs all season, which was enough to land them a place at 5
4
Florida
Florida was a team that ranked highly on my list last year, and it seems like they have done it again with this years draft. While not reaching the heights of last season, were they narrowly missed out on the natty, they still developed a top team which was able to produce three ISFL level talents in Tom Teboat, Jalen Washington, and Captain John Price. This was a team that might get overlooked due to the talent of last seasons Florida team, however was still a sign that Florida is a school is here to stay
3
LSU
LSU was a team that showed you did not need top rank recruits to make a top ranked team, with their best two players being a kid from Canada and a walk on. LSU was in a rough spot offensively with their top WR getting injured so they decided to take a chance on two kids who were seen as lesser prospects. Caven McRae, a WR was a physical freak, and while many teams were willing to offer him a place on their team only LSU promised to make him a starter, due to their starting TE getting injured. Quavious McGrady was a walk on at LSU, Quavo was another athletic freak who did not receive many offers as he had some controversy involving his birth certificate which many teams saw as a major red flag, Quavo was given a shot just like McRae due to major injuries and the two of them help LSU become a team to fear.
2
Ohio State
This is the part were we have a few confusion in the Wiki world, as both Ohio State and Georgia claim to have won the Natty. However I decided that Georgia won it due to them having two first rounder (and more than one wiki page). This was a team that was good on both sides of the ball, on defense you had Leonard Taylor, who dominated the middle of the field for the Buckeyes, and Evan Jones who made it a habit to come up big in big games. Jones was seen as a hero for his role in the victories against Alabama and Michigan. On offense you had Heisman winner LeBron James III (He doesnt have a Wiki but im just gunna say he won it since the other QB in this draft said he came 3rd in voting). This team was dominant but came up short against our number 1 team
1
Georgia
The Bulldogs were the best team in College Football in 2039, they had an undefeated season and had two first rounders in the ISFL draft. Firstly you got Dogwood Maple, the local boy who might be the Bulldogs most beloved player of all time, speaking bad against Dogwood in Georgia is basically a crime. Dogwood was the best Safety in college football and was the star of that Georgia Defense. While Dogwood was seen as a star from the get-go, on the offensive side of the ball you got QB Ryan Negs. Negs was never seen as a star, riding the Bulldog Bench for three years, however he finally got his chance to be the starter in his senior year. Negs shocked college football, showing off his intelligence and arm to becoming one of the top QB's in the DSFL draft and the ISFL draft
