Killian Chambers spent time with Philadelphia’s Department of Public Health over the holidays. In conjunction with the department, Chambers has helped promote the importance of mental health and the resources that are available to help people. Chambers champions having an open attitude towards mental health and hopes to foster a supportive community in Philadelphia. Chambers hosted a 2-hour long mental health panel where he opened up about his past personal struggles. During the panel, he talked about the death of his mother when he was in high school. He discussed how he struggled a lot following his mother’s death, and how he never thought he would be where he is today. Chambers stressed the importance of seeking help for one’s mental health struggles, saying “it’s never too late to seek help, things can get better.” Chambers is extremely grateful to be in a position where he can help others. He recognizes that some things are much more important than football and promised to continue supporting the city of Philadelphia and its residents. After hosting the open panel on mental health, Chambers also auctioned off autographs and signed memorabilia from the team. In total, this auction helped raised over $130,000 that will go towards the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Chambers also vowed to donate $10,000 for each touchdown he scores this season.
I volunteer at a Food Pantry every opportunity I have. Especially right now will a lot of people having money trouble, it is important that everyone has access to food for their family!
Tsuyu would be doing many things to help the community being a hero herself, but a few of her favorite things to do are volunteer at local homeless shelters by cooking food and helping getting medical supplies. Another thing she likes to do is entertain kids at children's hospitals by showing off her Qurik too the kids, who were always entertained by her frog antics. She knows a young girl with leukemia there named Alice who despite her condition was always a ray of sunshine and would brighten the day of anyone who met her. One day during the short time the GM had her volunteer Tsuyu was told that her leukemia was in remission, making Tsuyu cry tears of joy at the news.
Tsuyu would give Alice an autographed jersey to celebrate, and told Alice that she is one of the strongest and brave kids she had ever met. Alics in response would say that Tsuyu was one of her favorite people she had ever met at the hospital, and they hugged both of them crying. Tsuyu still keeps a photo of Alice in her room and even introduced many of her Royals teammates to the brave little girl who had beaten one of the toughest things you could ever go through.
Cade York would be back home in Texas volunteering at the local food shelter with his High school teammates and his father. Cade was inspired when he watched Joe Burrow’s Heisman acceptance speech. Burrow mentioned the Athens food bank and this inspired Cade to volunteer at his local food bank during the holidays. Cade has two main jobs. His first is to stock the bags and load the shelves to make sure they are not out of anything. He basically does inventory. The other job Cade has is organizing the Christmas present giveaway. The foodbank will be handing out gifts this year and Cade is in charge of the whole operation! When he was asked about it York responded with, “Who wouldn’t want to help out the less fortunate? We were told about this project in November and I instantly volunteered! I am really enjoying it so far and cant wait to see the look on some of these kids faces soon! Cade York plans to continue volunteering at the food shelter for years to come and has even gotten his sister and other family members to help volunteer! “We applaud and thank Cade for all he is doing to give back to the community”, said the Mckinney food bank.

Blago Kokot is a man of the people. Volunteering is something he tries to do as often as possible as according to Kokot giving some of your time to something good is the best way to spend said time. This time around working in a local children's hospital is a bit risky with the covid and all, but Kokot decided that it is still worth the risks to bring some smiles and good times to the young kids. Safety is of course taken seriously.
With the help from the Yellowknife Wraiths organization, Kokot is going to dress up like a wraith and hand out some gifts to the kids. Yellowknife jerseys, hats, and other items are inside the gifts. To bring an element of surprise and mystery Kokot will visit the kids in the middle of the night, so when the kids wake up in the morning they will find the gifts under their beds. The nurses will take pictures of Kokot bringing the gifts to each kid, so even though the kids technically do not get to meet Kokot as they are sleeping, but they still have a picture of it. Behind the picture is a signature of Kokot. A small thing when you think about it, but still something that will bring a lot of joy to the kids. Thanks Slothman07!
