The charitable organization I am involved with is FIRST Robotics. The reason I chose FIRST is due to how much of an impact it had on me while I participated throughout my high school years, so I saw how effective it can be at introducing students to STEM education in ways they didn't have access to before as well as teaching critical thinking skills and some real-ish world experience on either the build side for creating the robots in the competition and the business side of the team going to get sponsors make a business plan and coordinate events to participate in . It's amazing the kinds of ideas kids from around the world can all bring from having a different perspective on the same issue.
The main ways I contribute is by helping mentor some of my local teams throughout the season as well as volunteering at local events and the championship event. It's great to see the growth and achievements of everyone participating throughout the year. I also would like to try to found new teams in other schools to get more people invested in this organization as well as helping other teams get to out of area events to increase their exposure to new people and ideas once I start earning some money in the ISFL since I'm kinda broke right now. I look forward to seeing and shaping the next generation of innovators.
One of the important causes that Alejandro Chainbreaker would be to harken back to his namesake and to help break the chains of those who bear the weight of being in a school-to-prison pipeline. Man must pull themselves up by their bootstraps for success, but how can man do so without a pair of boots or the knowledge of how to tie them? This along with a number of other mottos form the core values of The Chainbreakers. Every person in the Chainbreakers will be given a pair of boots to wear and will first be taught how to tie them. From there on the weekends a free lunch every day will accompany a program that will freely advise and tutor its members on the skills and knowledge they need to better their lives and pursue their dreams. One of the things commonly known about "charitable obligations" is that they're mostly used by athletes to generate some good press instead of just paying the taxes as the more charitable giveing a player does the less taxes that they do. Alejandro Chainbreaker is not an American and doesn't hold US citizenship and thus is of the opinion that he holds no obligation to pay US taxes. In this as well If they ever get fined by the league they are then forced to give that fine money to a charitable organization. Every single week Alejandro Chainbreaker will run out onto the field and warm up in the same boots that his Chainbreakers wear every day to school. He then gets fined and then donates that fine to the organization.
Every year the duck population rises in Minnesota and there is limited habitat and resources for the magnificent water bird. John Huntsman has taken kindly to the local wildlife and started his charity to promote the local Ducks Unlimited chapters throughout the state of Minnesota. Upon retirement, Huntsman plans to cut all ties to the civilized community and head into the depths of the Minnesota forests to live among his billed friends. John Huntsman’s goal is to have every municipality in Minnesota to have enough money to fund a Ducks Unlimited chapter for their local wildlife conservation. In order to do that, Huntsman has been traveling throughout the state and going to local schools to get kids involved with learning about Ducks Unlimited and creating personalized Duck Houses (boxes). These duck boxes have all been signed by John Huntsman and available for purchase and sponsorship by the local community. Huntsman will be generously supplying the materials himself by finding harvestable wood in the forests of Minnesota and chopping down the trees himself and processing the wood into usable planks. Ducks Unlimited has had a steady increase in popularity throughout the state thanks to John Huntsman’s efforts and the duck population is stable and healthy.
The Oles family spends plenty of time working with charities to help their communities, doing all the normal expected duties of a major public figure. They do all the normal things, hospital visits, make a wish, toys for tots, everything you can think of that would be focused on helping out the many people who need it. However, the one charity that is near and dear to the Oles family is the American Blood Clot Association. This association focuses on helping raise awareness around blood clots, a problem that can cause issues for everyone while many don’t really know the warning symptoms and can easily overlook it. The Oles family got involved when Tyler Oles SR was young, well before his playing days, when his mom passed away from a pulmonary embolism that could have been prevented. She had presented the warning signs of a blood clot and had even been to the doctor a week before her death due to a concerning cough and concerning symptoms, when the doctor diagnosed her with bronchitis, and sent her on her way. Nothing really changed and then a normal day turned into chaos for the family, and you never expect to wake up and one day lose your mother to something that was extremely preventable. Ever since they have made it a major effort to push awareness to people, so they know what the warning signs are and what to look out for, in the hopes that someone else doesn’t lose out on a member of their family to something that is easily preventable. Out of Character: While the characters may be fictional, the story is not, when I was 15 I lost my mom to a pulmonary embolism, we were told that later on that it was easy to prevent and with the correct diagnosis she would have survived, but it didn’t work like that. It’s been almost 10 years and I can still remember what happened that day very vividly, whoever is reading this, please make sure you know what to look out for. Blood clots happen and can be helped, but without the knowledge of their symptoms and how they feel they can be worrisome and deadly. I never expected to wake up to an ambulance outside my house, my dad waking me up and telling me everyone was going to the hospital except for me, and I’ll never forget my brother calling me and telling me that she was gone. If you’re worried about it, ask your doctor about it, it never hurts to have the knowledge of what it may feel like.

Andrew Witten is passionate about charity work. Being a professional athlete is a big responsibility. Kids all over the country look up to you and admire you. If you can make a kid’s week just by talking and spending time with him or her, then that is a great opportunity to reach out and serve the community. Witten makes regular visits to childrens’ hospitals, playing games, tossing a football, or just sitting and talking with kids receiving treatment or recovering from surgeries. He also has had his eyes opened to another opportunity to help children in need: blood donations. Many people in the US, especially those with cancers like leukemia, need regular blood transfusions as part of their treatment. Given that many of the kids Witten visits at the hospitals are cancer patients, Witten has begun to donate blood every eight weeks with his local blood center. He also has appeared at multiple blood drives as a special guest. When he has done this, usually the blood center can get a full schedule of blood donations as people flock to the center to meet Witten, get free New Orleans Second Line merchandise, and get autographs from Witten. Witten encourages each of you: if you are able, please consider donating blood at your local blood center. This is a vital service for the community and your donation is guaranteed to go towards saving someone’s life.
As it is well known Rich Triplet is associated with the leagues premier lawyer, Augustus Von Heimlich, while unable to be there in person with Augustus, Rich has been helping him in his newest endeavor. Breaking Instability in Guinea Helping All Never Doubt Students, or B.I.G.H.A.N.D.S looking to promote education to underprivileged kids. Now as Rich is playing in the post-season for the first time in his ISFL career he made plans to visit Guinea a tad early as he had been so used to not making the post season. To make sure those kids are getting pushed in the direction they need to be Rich will call the students involved in the program every day. Rich sets aside 3 hours a day, 2 in the morning and 1 in the evening to get in contact with the kids to make sure they are keeping up with their studies to ensure that they will be able to provide a better future for the region of Guinea. “Kids are the future, I play ball for a living, I won’t change the world. If I can help those that CAN change it though and put them in a position to get the chance to change it, I’m gonna do that.” Augustus Von Heimlich has been quiet around the league but his work with Rich has been absolutely paramount to the success of B.I.G.H.A.N.D.S
Chunt The Badger is a lot of things: a badger, a wide receiver, a lover of dinos, and even a lube ambassador; but he is so much more than that. Chunt is a giver. When he’s not playing on the field or pinning after another win, Chunt spends his free time at the Maryland Zoo. When he was originally drafted to the Hawks, Chunt spent many off days hanging out with his fellow badger friends. Due to the Baltimore Hawks primarily consisting of humans, Chunt needed time to spend with creatures that could easily be able to walk in his fur for the day. The Maryland Zoo was not only a sanctuary for Chunt to go to, but a sanctuary for the other animals it hosts. It is only imaginable that the recent pandemic has hurt the non-profit so Chunt has decided to host a fundraiser for them. He has lovingly forced the other Hawks to join in on his mission to raise $5,000,000 for the sanctuary by auctioning off date nights with the different players on the team. Further, Chunt has allocated $1,000,000 of his next year’s salary to start off the mission. Lastly, Chunt has invited all of the current ISFL players to join in on his mission to save this zoo and the incredible animals in it - you never know what new animal might join the league after all.
Adam Mellott likes to be a great presence on and off the field, so when he isn't destroying the opposing Defensive Lineman he does like to dabble in some charity work. He has done many things from giving gifts to less fortunate children and helping out at food drives to help feed hungry and suffering people, one type of charity he feels very strongly for is charities dealing with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Not many people know this, but Mellott's great-grandmother later in life ended up being diagnosed with Dementia. What once was a lively and wonderful woman who Mellott always enjoyed visiting and spend time with, suddenly and very quickly became a former shell of herself. He watched as she got older and as the years went by she deteriorated more and more to the point where she started to forget everything around her. At first, it was small things, but eventually it led to friends, then finally family. During the last leg of her life before she passed, Mellott could tell that when she looked at him, she did not recognize who he was, and this realization struck him to his core. There are many horrible and awful things in this world, but losing not only your memories but also your own self is terrifying. Because of this, Mellott has dedicated himself to helping any charities he can in the battle against Dementia and trying to find a way to stop and prevent it.
