I know it’s a little early for one of these articles after I just did one about a week ago covering Prince’s chances of success in the ISFL, but things already seem to be going well for New York’s newest back. In week 1, he picked up 40 yards on 17 attempts and a touchdown, which isn’t incredibly impressive, but for a rookie is a great building block to develop into something good. Prince also came in clutch, catching a last second touchdown pass to send the game into overtime. Even though the Silverbacks would eventually lose their opener, there is a lot of high hopes for this season. As a result of his nice ISFL debut, Prince received a game banana from Silverbacks management.
While this performance showed how versatile Prince can be, it’ll be important to see if he keeps it up. This might’ve just been a one and done performance, but the Silverbacks locker room seems to believe in him, and with that motivation he can hopefully become a starting caliber running back in the seasons to come.
