At the Birddogs' practice facility in Richardson, TX, a small group of reporters gather around the locker of new Dallas Quarterback, Christian Marciano
Reporter: Christian, your first game in the DSFL is in the books. Can you tell us a bit about what you thought about your performance and what you will take away from it to improve your game going forward?
Marciano: What do I think about my performance? I think I let the team down. We went into Tijuana to play against a team that we are more talented than in every aspect of the game, and I went out and had twenty incompletions. That's just not acceptable. I expect myself to complete at least 90% of my throws, especially against a team of no-talent nobodies like the Luchasnores. I mean hell, you see how bad their corners are? My boys Escanor and Ted absolutely torched those scrubs, and if I actually played more like a Marciano and less like a Laughlove, my boys would have gone off for at a minimum 300 yards each.
So, what can I take away from the game to improve going forward? I can take away that Tijuana is a team full of bustas, and that the only reason we lost is because the damn referees were obviously in their pockets. Shit, we outplayed them in so many aspects of the game but over and over again they kept getting bailed out by the zebras. We lose to a whole lotta home cookin and not much else. You shouldn't be asking me what I learned, when really you should ask what those buckos down in Tijuana learned and how many lucky rabbits feet they got shoved in their jocks.
