Coming Summer 2004
Patrik Money has been thinking about retirement for a while now. He’s into his 11th season in the league and he doesn’t have a lot more left in the tank. His plans for after football are simple. He doesn’t have the brain and tactical knowledge to really stay in the game. He just stands on the DL and runs at people. He does however have his successful potato farming business in Yellowknife that he intends to continue. Without the time required playing football, he may even be able to expand his business to other areas and use his free time to manage farms in better climates for growing crops than just in the harsh climate of Yellowknife.
He does intend to stay connected to the ISFL though. He still very much enjoys the game and shall be watching as many games as his time allows him to. His long career at Yellowknife means he will have season tickets for life there and could also travel to see some matchups he’s never had the chance to watch before outside of the film room.

Daron Arnold is just getting started, so retirement isn't even close to being a thought on his mind. And quite frankly, he's not going to retire until either he surpasses his step-brother Aaron Donald or his body breaks down trying.
If he succeeds in finally surpassing his step-brother's level of success, Arnold is going to live the life of a star. Endorsements, movies, talk shows, the works. Lord knows he'll have earned it by that point, and he plans on living the life of comfort for the rest of his days. Though he'll never admit it, it is far more likely that he never achieves Aaron Donald's level of success. If (when) this comes to pass, Arnold would insist on staying close to the game. Maybe he can't beat his step brother as a player, but there's more to football than just playing the game. If he doesn't have the physical capacity to become the best of all time, then he has the rest of his life to learn how to become the best coach of all time. Maybe even earn a coveted GM role and turn some team into a perennial champion. As long as Arnold has something that he can clearly claim to be better than his step-brother at, he would be happy.
Well, the career of Able Archer is young and budding, so really he isn't too focused on the thought of hanging the pads up. However, one can still plan for the future and have some things in mind when he does need to do the deed. So, there are several things that he can do depending on what he does in his career.
1. If he is successful, he would want to make an appearance in sports media, talk about football, make connections, call some games, etc. He had grown up loving the game so that he wants to share his knowledge to the world. 2. If he isn't that successful, then it's not that big of a deal. He plans to get back to work, maybe open a business, start a family, you know. Maybe he can be the next overrated or bad player to have a decent coaching career cause why not. Overall, he doesn't really plan to retire quite soon, but as of now, he does have a couple of things in mind certainly.
Tayshawn Crunk is still in his prime years - just - but he has fewer seasons ahead of him than behind him for sure. With that knowledge, retirement plans have been in the works for a while.
He wants to move into the entertainment industry, opening up his favourite type of establishment in his favourite place in the world. Did you guess strip club in Vegas? Well, that's it. Crunk is a creature of habit - travelling to party in the desert at every opportunity, and people always say you should invest in what you know. He hasn't got a location or a layout yet, but he wanted to make a start, so he did hire a team of marketing consultants to work on the name and branding. For the tiny sum of only fifteen thousand dollars, he was advised that the name for his "Bar and Entertainment Lounge" should be... wait for it... Crunk's. Amazed by the revenue potential, he is now looking at opening a marketing consultancy firm too.

After my final season in the international simulation football league, I figured I would go back to my home town to be with my family once again but after spending some of my best year of my life in the league, I'm not sure if it would be that easy for me to leave. After being in a team environment for so long, I think it is my true calling in life, and with my great communication skills in the locker room, I think that transitioning into coaching would be the best for me too be happy in life. Whether that is being a GM on the team or simply being any form of coach who stays in communication with the team would be the best for myself. I may not be the best with strats, but if I can do one thing, it's rally a team to be the best it can be so if being the team's cheerleader is what I need to become, I will do it if it helps us win.
