When thinking of players that were active during my time in the league, there are a lot that I could easily make arguments for. Chuck Roth @zeagle1 and Honky-Tonk Haywood @jzajenius36 both have very strong claims to the Hall, as both have nabbed numerous awards and and been named to the All-Pro and Pro Bowl teams multiple times each. Gary Goodman @"ShnarlyDude" will go down in history as one of the best pass rushers to ever play, as he has a very real shot at ending his career in the top 3 all time for sacks.
One player that I think might be overlooked but should be considered is Tight End Borgo San Lorenzo @AgentSmith. San Lorenzo is wrapping up his sixth season playing for the Liberty, and in that time has been nothing short of a weapon at Tight End for the team. During his 5+ season career, San Lorenzo has racked up some impressive numbers for a Tight End: 410 catches for 3,971 yards and 22 touchdowns. He has also been twice named to the NSFC Pro Bowl team, the All-Pro team (one first team, one second team) and has twice won Tight End of the Year. I know looking at his stats they maybe seem a little pedestrian, but, if he were to finish out Season 33 on the pace he is, his career numbers would go up to 442 catches, 4234 yards, 23 TDs. His year by year average would be: 73 receptions - 705 yards - 3.9 TDs. Recent HoF inductee, Austin McCormick, posted this season average for his career: 69 receptions, 708 yards, 4.3 touchdowns. McCormick definitely has the advantage in Pro Bowls (6 to 2) but they both have two Tight End of the Year awards to their names, and San Lorenzo still has a few more seasons to go. If he can play at the same level for a few more seasons that he has up to this point, I think there could be a very strong case to be made for his induction into the Hall of Fame!
I don't think there is much question that he will make it to the Hall of Fame, but I'm still going to take a minute to talk about how much retired Wraiths QB Colby Jack deserves to be there. Before we even talk stats I'm going to lead off with the awards that Colby racked up during his time in the league. First off, Colby won QB of the year twice, in seasons 26 and 29. That's already impressive, as not a lot of players win their positional award twice. I guess I should also mention he won league MVP both of those seasons as well. Not done yet, though. To add to his already impressive resume, we can add Ultimus championships in seasons 26 and 28. Honestly, we could probably stop there and that would be enough to cement Colby's HoF spot. But we aren't stopping. Colby's career stats include over 37k passing yards, good enough for #5 all time, 262 passing TDs, #2 all time, and a career rating of 95.5, good enough for #4 all time. No doubt that he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame!

The hall of fame recently opened and I have one nominee in mind. That legendary Ice Bear! I am extremely biased in the decision as he is a good friend of mine in real life and is the person who got me into the International Simulation Football League. However I think his candidacy speaks for itself, or at least will by the time his career is over and all said and done with. He made his initial impact as a fun person doing media article with his fellow good buddy Fronk. This grew into graphics where he created a bunch of them for the World Series of Football and all sorts of different logos for other events. In addition to these, he also has made tons of fields for teams. His biggest impact has been on the user side of things where he has been a general manager and been a mentor to dozens of users since he began. He deserves a hall of fame nod when it is time!
Admittedly this is only my 3rd season being around the league so I have very limited historical context and have not really looked into the Hall of Fame or how it operates or who gets in or how, etc. so I will go off prompt slightly and talk about an active player that is on a HOF trajectory. There has been 1 offensive player that has absolutely dominated all 3 seasons I have been around, especially from a fantasy perspective, and that player is Goat Tank. In the 42 regular season games he has played since I joined, he has amassed 4200 rushing yards, 49 rushing TDs, 1050 receiving yards, and 13 receiving TDs. With OCO he produced with insane volume, with BER he has produced with insane efficiency while also maintaining very high volume. That said, he is only 23rd all time in rushing yards and 11th all time in rushing TDs, but he is not even close to being done. He is under contract for 4 more seasons after this one and the only RB in the organization outside of Tatsu Nakamura who will probably be retiring sooner rather than later. Goat Tank should have plenty of opportunity to climb those leaderboards and a lot more to his career stats.
It might be early, but if I had to make a nomination for the ISFL Hall of Fame, I'd nominate Frick, NTG, and HallMonitor. Simply put, they've put in tremendous work to take a bottom barrel, talent starved team, into a strong position ready for the playoffs and beyond in minimal time. Their scouting and tactics have lead to great players playing beautifully on the field and the results are as clear as day. Beyond what is seen on the field, they've fostered an incredible locker room which at times rivals that of a DSFL locker room. Always sharing great content, parental advice, and enjoyable personal anecdotes without oversharing, their work to keep the team engaged and active is top notch. This kind of rebuild not only makes the league more competitive come sim day, but more enjoyable on the day to day base. It's the sort of community that should outlast their stewardship and keep the league going. For that reason, I choose to nominate them.
