For me a player that I think deserves to be in the hall of fame right away since he just retired is Jamar Lackson. After getting taken 74 overall Lackson went on to win the Offensive rookie of the year in S23 along with winning 2 Ultimus trophies along with being the Ultimus MVP in S25. With a career total have 66 rushing TDs and 9,064 yards rushing Jamar was a force on the ground but he didn't just put up points on the ground, he had some get yards through the including 24 receiving TDs along with 2,677 receiving yards and 313 catches. Those numbers are in my opinion pretty hall of fame worthy and Jamar Lackson will go down as one of the best steals both in the ISFL but in the DSFL as well. He also spent his entire career with one team which is always a big plus for me. I expect to see Jamar Lackson get the call the 1st year he becomes eligible.

The ISFL Player Hall of Fame is a prestigious achievement within the sim league world, and it is a highly competitive and sometimes controversial process each and every season as new players are inducted. The Sarasota Sailfish are still seeking their first induction into the Player Hall of Fame, but they’ve got some near locks that will be appearing on the ballot in the coming seasons. Three players that immediately come to mind are James Angler, Cuco Clemente, and Jacob Small. Each are arguably the single best player at their respective positions during their time in the ISFL. Each also has multiple positional excellence awards for their respective positions on their mantle to prove that point. As Sailfish from day 1 until their final snap in the league, they were all critical in the development of the team that would ultimately bring home two Ultimus trophies while they suited up in the blue and teal. I have no doubt that the first Sailfish Hall of Fame induction is right around the corner.

The Hall of Fame is often seen as the pinnacle of any sport or league because it displays who really is the best of the best among their peers. While there are always those no doubters that should be in the Hall of Fame, I think there tends to be a number of different players that get left out or even forgotten. Not to toot my own horn but I think Tyron Brackenridge deserves a shot at making it into the Hall of Fame due to some of the great stats he put up during his career as well as the team stats they were able to garner. Another player that comes to mind from my previous create includes Jamar Lackson who is one of the best runningbacks I've seen in my team in the league with the amount of big plays he was able to put up and the consistent overall stats year after year, and he could even be named as one of the best Sabrecat runningbacks of all time.
For the player Hall of Fame, I nominate @Kotasa's player, Rich Triplet. He has been a max-earner since entering the league, and his on-field performances certainly reflect that. Triplet has a CBotY under his belt, multiple Pro Bowls, holds the single-season record for most PD's, and is on pace to break the career PD's record. He has been the cornerstone of the Outlaws defense for nearly his whole career. While he is most likely a lock for the Hall, I offer this paragraph as further support.
For the user Hall of Fame, I nominate @"Maglubiyet". Mag has been an active member of the league for close to two years now and seems to be all over the place. He has held several different jobs and is exemplary in each. More importantly, though, is that Mag has been a part of many new users' first experience with the league, myself included. He is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions newbies may have. There is nobody, in my opinion, more deserving of the user HoF for the positive impact they alone have had on the league. For the GM Hall of Fame, I nominate @Crunk. Since taking over in Arizona, they have been a perennial powerhouse and Crunk is a large part of that. The strategical mastermind, Crunk is on pace to become the fastest GM to 100 wins. With Z-Whiz as his co-GM, I expect this success to continue into the future. |
