Look, I just wouldn’t be doing this task honestly of I didn’t dedicate it to the one, the only, the tireless, the dependable, Doug Norfolk. This friendly android operates quietly behind the scenes at Seawolves HQ, keeping the lights on, the floors clean, the vending machines full of snacks, and about 1000 other humble but indispensable tasks. Doug is beloved by everyone in the Norfolk facility. Visiting prospects and other outsiders sometimes fail to acknowledge Doug when his cheerful blue face pops up and he chimes in with his signature “Congratulations!” It is not a mistake that many repeat, since Norfolk veterans are swift to correct anyone’s failure to “Thank Doug” promptly! No one’s quite sure what it actually means when Doug tells someone that they’ve “Leveled Up,” but we know that it’s his robotic way of encouraging and cheering on the team, and so we take very seriously the job of making sure Doug is always shown proper appreciation for his hard work and kind words.
Recently the Seawolves even introduced the Doug Norfolk Award, a seasonal team award in Doug’s honor, given to the player chosen by their peers as exhibiting the most/best leadership in the locker room that season. It’s our way of honoring Doug’s humble greatness, by rewarding players who embody his level of dedication and love for the team.
When it comes to bots and which one is the greatest, the simple most obvious answer is the correct one, and for me that's wolfieBot. Wolfie is basically an amalgamation of all of the good aspects of bots. You can check what Tasks you've done so you can earn to the best of your ability. You can see how much TPE you have so your GM and teammates know how garbage you are at said earning, and you can also see your account balance so everyone can see how broke you are. The main and most helpful thing for me about the bot is that you can get all of the information regarding fantasy. The most part of ISFL Fantasy for me is the beginning of the fantasy season for me is having to do my own research via the fantasy sheet in regards to how my team's performing and cross examining who on the free agency list is outperforming them. You can also ask it to show you pictures of dogs and makes sure to "report" any "tampering" to "HO," so it has it's fun side as well.
Well let’s have a look at the BotY candidates.
As expected there are no BotY candidates for any other position in the ISFL outside of the O-Line. So without any further ado here are the three candidate. O-line: Bob Ones (G) - YNW - 91 Pancakes / 1 Sack Allowed Samson Pooky (G) - YNW - 89 Pancakes / 1 Sack Allowed Beep Bot © - SHS - 67 Pancakes / 0 Sacks Allowed Result: This is a close one, there is very little difference between the two YNW candidates, with only 2 pancakes separating them over the course of the season. Both allowing a single sack as well. That’s a very creditable season for any aspiring young O-line people. However with the two extra pancakes the nod goes to Bob Ones over Samson Pooky Now between Bob One and Beep Bot, would seem to be a obvious choice, however you need to take into account the fact that Beep Bot plays centre not Guard and thus positional value must be taken into account. In addition how many pancakes is a single sack worth, for me it’s not enough on it own. However, the centre has a far more important role on the O-line with management pre-play. All in all the result could go either way, but until we get more detailed information, such a pressure allowed and plays created then the BotY goes too……… BOB ONES of the Yellowknife Waiths. Congratulations!
After being apart of the Minnesota war room for many seasons, as GM and advisor, there have been many many bot name discussions that I have been apart of, from whatever GhostOf player to add next or even a new duck pun to punish the league next. But there is one bot who stands above the rest, and that is the ___Dux inatrenchcoat family. From 6-now 8 dux they have always been a stud on the field, and always outperforming the active max earners on the squad, from the current LB Daron Arnold to the Secondary version to dux outpreforming high ISFL draft pick Modern Nazgul and now CB Dax Dangerfield along the way. The Trench Coat seems to be too powerful for the DSFL level, and we should all be happy he is contained here in the DSFL, as he would be the undisputed 8x MVP if was ever to be released into the big leagues.

There are many great bots in this league, both on the field and in the locker rooms. I'd like to take a moment to give a shoutout to a fantastic little bot that makes its home in the New York Silverbacks locker room. That bot is Koko, made lovingly by Toasty many seasons ago. There are bots that do a number of things. Some bring up player stats and bank balances. Some play Pokemon, or count, or play Risk. But Koko does something special. Something I don't think any other bot in the league does. Koko exclusively plays amazing gorilla gifs whenever called upon. Whether you need a silverback splashing in a pool, playing the drums, or even flipping the bird...Koko has got you. The amount of morale boosting that this little bot accomplishes is amazing, and I frankly can't imagine a New York locker room without Koko. Here's to you, bot!
