DO NOT COME TO POINT PLEASANT WEST VIRGINIA FOR ULTIMUS BOWL XXXVII
The Point Pleasant West Virginia Anti-Tourism Committee is kindly asking that ISFL fans refrain from voting to host the next Ultimus Bowl in the town of Point Pleasant, home to the yet to be fully understood being known as Mothman. The PPWVATC fears for the well-being of the public as a whole should the masses come to enjoy the greatest game on simulated turf in the town of Point Pleasant. Despite the fact that this town would be an amazing place to hold the Ultimus, with its small but dedicated and kind population, the PPWVATC cannot guarantee the safety of the thousands of visitors that would enjoy an amazing championship game in this small West Virginia town. The PPWVATC hopes that, so long as visitors avoid the old abandoned WWII munitions plant that the creature is known to frequently inhabit, they can prevent any disasters as fans enjoy a once of a lifetime experience in this beautiful West Virginia locale, but the risk of calamity cannot be entirely mitigated.
Should Point Pleasant be selected to host the 37th Ultimus Bowl, the PPWVATC will be working diligently with the ISFL to build a new, state-of-the-art Mothman Arena in an attempt to bring a luxurious, world-class simulated football experience to the fans, players, and staff that attend, while also attempting to appease the creature. Should this new monument to the creature not fully appease them, the stadium will also be fitted with defensive and disaster management mechanisms should a potential attack or breach of security by the Mothman occur. However, the PPWVATC would like to reiterate that they cannot fully prevent any incidents at what would be a spectacular and memorable Ultimus Bowl and strongly encourage the public not to vote for their town to host the game.
In order to assist the public in their effort to prevent Point Pleasant West Virginia from being voted to host the next Ultimus Bowl, the PPWVATC would like to raise awareness to the logo being associated with the unfortunate and dangerous Ultimus bid for the town. The logo is, of course, inspired by artist recreations of the Mothman created from descriptions the few lucky and brave enough to have survived enough physically and mentally to tell their tales of their close encounters with the creature. The PPWVATC hopes and prays that this logo will be the closest that fans get to witnessing the creature themselves.
The PPWVATC thanks you for your consideration and kindness in listening to their message and in voting for any other bid to avoid catastrophe in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
Hi all, hope you enjoy the media and like the logo for my bid! Of course the media is written in jest and I hope you all will vote for my Ultimus XXXVII bid.
(or do I? Save yourself!)
