So far I can't ask for much more out of Eldroh Kove's rookie season. In the four games played so far he's leading the league in rushing yards with 424, and has a very respectable two touchdowns, including one in his first ever game in the DSFL. He definitely hasn't been the most well-rounded player, having just 8 pancakes and being one of the players with a sack allowed, but this part of his game will round out as he progresses. As for Portland, they're off to a bit of a slow start, but with the exception of one they've all been close games. The team seems confident that they can turn it around, and if they're confident then so is Eldroh. All he can do to help the team is keep improving every week, so he's going to keep doing that and if all goes well the Pythons will be racing past this slow start in no time.
Coming out of college, LeHarm James looked like the next Roy Baker. Week 1, he went perfect on the day with a 50-yarder to score 9 points for his team on the day. Now, before Week 5, he's not even kicking.
"I was unhappy with my role at kicker. Weeks 2-4 I only had one attempt every game while my team got absolutely blasted by the run game." So, he put some weight on and did it himself. Now as one of the highest rated DEFENSIVE ENDS in the league, he plans to start a new step in his career. Scouts are baffled by this move and question his fundametals at DE, and kicker fans are bashing him while flocking to Wing Wang as their new savior. Regardless, the DSFL has much more season left than the ISFL. LeHarm will play his first game at DE against the Portland Pythons at their place for Week 5.
Luigi Numberone is particularly perplexed about his performance. By far his best game of the season was his first, where he had 2 pass breakups and an interception which almost went to the house. Since then he has completely struck out in the following 3 games, with his only stat being 15 tackles. Moreover, he has let up numerous touchdowns on the season; at this point he has less pass breakups than touchdowns allowed. With the season over a quarter of the way done, pretty much any awards whatsoever are out of the running unless he goes on an unbelievable tear over the rest of the season, with of course the exception of Defensive Performance of the Year. That just requires one extremely lucky game.
In this sportswriter's opinion, most of his poor performance can be chalked up to the fact that he has not figured out that you are allowed to use your hands to catch the ball.
So far this season has started incredibly well for my team, a Seven and zero winning season, two possible defensive rookie of the year contenders in myself and Alita Battle Angel, an amazing set of Rookies that have only made the team stronger and a core that is starting to grow stronger as well. Some may say we have made a deal with the devil but I say we have made a deal with Tyche The Greek goddess of chance and Nike the goddess of victory. As for my own expectations for the season they are a bit down but a part of me understands that for my position a larger amount of experience. I wish I could get a few tackles for a loss, Sacks, Forced Fumbles and Fumble recoveries but there are many more games to play and stats to gain. Hopeful Honolulu can keep winning and my season can keep getting better.

Well Goat Tannk is going to have another meh season because honestly being on the defensive line in this sim is pretty darn boring so I just do what needs to be done on my side and assume that it's helping the team in some way. But then I look and see that we're something like what... 1-6 and I thought we did a trade to try and make a push to the playoffs but it doesn't seem to be happening so I'm not really sure what to think at this point. Winning is nice and all but honestly, I've never really been on a team in the ISFL that does amazingly good - other than the 1 time I got traded with my last player to get on a team that seemed to be a lock to get a ring and they did. I guess what I am trying to say is that I'm just chilling and having fun with the league and not too worried about what my player and team is currently doing because the sim will do whatever the hell it wants.
After 4 seasons of extended post season runs it should come to no surprise that Leonardo McTurtle is off to a slower then expected start. As much of the Outlaws have been. Call it a ultimus hangover or whatever you want to but plain and simple they need to be better. The team has just looked off in the first few weeks of the play but there is still reason to look at this team and know they have been there before and done it before. So there is no cause for concern at this point as they look to rebound in a big way this week and potentially save their season. No matter what though the last 4 seasons have been an incredible run and there is faith around this team in the ability to bounce back and do it again this season. Trust the process and keep putting in the work and you will be rewarded!
