The ISFL is new realm for me. All other players speak of a big tackle (getting tackled), a big hit (getting laid out), all these miscues that shows their rookie ineptitude. All getting a mentor being tough on them, train them, grow them. And what do I have? Nothing, the absence of it All is driving me a bit mad. I had nothing but mediocrity for my beginning, and it was that way for a while. I had a breakout game, 150+ yards, 2 TDs, yadda yadda yadda. And yeah it felt really good, the fans, the fanfare, but all of that just, it never really satisfied the “Welcome to the ISFL” itch I’ve been having. But you know what did fix it? Being with my teammates. After that win, we all went out to party, and then all giving me all the pats on the backs I could ask for, they really made me feel at home in the ISFL
