Robert Green, born to Barbara and Eugene in Syracuse, NY, displayed signs of athleticism from a young age, quickly gravitating towards football. His passion for the sport was evident as he spent countless hours playing with friends in local parks, constantly working to improve his skills by emulating his favorite players and studying the game's nuances. In high school, his dedication paid off as he became a key player and leader on the team, leading them to two state championships.
Choosing a college presented a challenging decision, as New York and playing for Syracuse University held a special place in his heart. However, scholarship offers from championship-caliber schools like Georgia, Alabama, and Clemson added to the complexity. Despite the enticing options, Robert always knew deep down where he wanted to play, and he eventually decided to attend Syracuse University.
After honing his skills at the university level, Robert Green emerged as a promising talent and caught the attention of the Tijuana Luchadores. Scouting Report for Running back Kyle Bessey:
Kyle Bessey is a reliable and consistent running back, with a solid career performance. In the 2057 season with the Tijuana Luchadores , he played in all 14 games and started in each one. He carried the ball 221 times for 1000 yards, averaging 4.5 yards per carry. Scoring 11 rushing touchdowns, he managed to contribute by consistently gaining positive yardage, averaging 71.4 rushing yards per game.
Bessey has showcased his receiving skills as well, catching 14 passes for 99 yards in the 2057 season. Scoring 1 touchdown in the air, his ability to secure receptions and gain positive yards makes him a versatile asset to the team's offensive strategy. As a blocker in the offensive line, Bessey is quite effective, registering 26 pancake blocks. However, he did allow 4 sacks throughout the season. 21. Written Option: If your player had a show starring them, what would the plot be?

A show starring Yosh Jr. would be quite interesting, albeit kinda silly. Like seriously, who would want to watch a show about an offensive linesman who hasn't even accomplished anything yet at the ISFL level? Like sure, Yosh Sr. was a ISFL Pro Bowler somehow, but that ain't that big of a deal. If it was the case that Yosh Sr. was a hall of famer or something and Yosh Jr. was the prodigal son that would exceed his father, then that would be an interesting show.

Granted, there could be some compelling elements to consider. For one, there are very few ISFL players from Yoshi's Island. This would be a great way to get to learn more about the Yoshis and their culture. Yosh Jr. can help serve as a guiding ambassador for future generations of Yoshis as they carry on a career in professional gridiron football or even in other sports! Now that's a show with merit!

27. Imagine your current position was not available to be picked when you created your player. What other position would you have picked, and why? (Written Task)

Oh no! The offensive linesman position is now officially outlawed from the official rules of Gridiron football? What would Yoshi Jr. do?

Well, for starters, he would have to consider the possibility of playing defensive tackle. In this case, I don't get why only offensive linesmen are the only ones being prohibited, and not their defensive counterparts. Anyhow, no objections here. Defensive tackle will certainly have a bit of a learning curve to it and it will have a lot of technical aspects that Yosh Jr. would have to learn to pick up on. Granted, with a bit of practice, and he could easily be a "Mike" in no time.

Speaking of which, one of my favorite moments in football was when the QB (or was the center offensive linesman?) called out who the "Mike" was and then they were like "Bro, I'm not the Mike!". Funniest thing ever, I swear.

Now, let's say Yosh Jr. fails at offensive linesman. It's not the end of the world! He could be a decent punter. Or a placeholder. One of the two.

33.  I actually believe that one of three teams need a rebrand: either Berlin, Colorado, or Arizona. I say this not necessarily because the branding is poor, but because I think we need to try avoiding having so may red teams. There are many colors we could explore in the world, and we don’t need to have 3 shades of red. Arizona has had too much success for a rebrand, and I think the Yeti are somewhat iconic, but Berlin really doesn’t have that much strength as a brand in the ISFL. I know they went to the Ultimus, but they did it defying everyone’s expectations. Many saw them as above average but not spectacular. Salamanders and Berlin simply is not a good match between mascot and city. I’ve never really understood that choice. In PBE we have the Puerto Rico Ranas (frogs) and it makes sense considering the island and water vibe of Puerto Rico. There lacks the same character in the worldwide view of German culture that would bring a frog to mind as the mascot. I could see it being something bigger and stronger, like an elephant or rhino even. They may not have any significance to the city, but I still feel it fits the Berlin vibe better. However, I’ll take any of the other teams changing just so we could avoid more red on red games.

16. This past season was really exciting for me. Throughout my career, I haven’t played positions that feel like they have a huge effect on the game or garnered many stats. My time as a coverage linebacker gave me a cool interception here and there, but I wasn’t getting sacks and tackles like my pass rushing counterparts. Offensive line is a sort of sacrificial position as well. These are both fun positions to play regardless, but you don’t get many star moments during the game. In my first season as kicker, I was pretty bad, nearly the worst. This season however, I was the top of the league. This was a great feeling, especially since I was contributing to what ended up being a run with the Ducks ending in the Ultimini. The game that clinched our seeding had a game winning kick against Tijuana from over 50 yards. I’ve never had the spotlight on me like that in the sim. I had one bad game where I missed a few field goals, but other than that I was incredibly consistent. It was great getting tagged in the Minnesota server when I kicked a long one or the occasional amazing punt as well. I was really hoping to get my second Ultimini, my first being with Pilot RedSun, and though I believed we were the better team, there’s so much more luck occurring in the DSFL due to the TPE cap, so we suffered a disappointing loss. That being said, my excitement for the league and my player grew significantly over this season, thanks to the stats but also the pleasurable DSFL culture. Minnesota had some great personalities that are going to grow into great users for the league. My first two players spent their DSFL careers in Norfolk, so being a Grey Duck was a little strange at first. I’ll now proudly rep the team, which I never expected. Next season I’ll be called up to Orange County, and I hope I can still contribute at a positive level for them. My TPE will be relatively low for kickers, and I would hate the feeling of being a negative asset. I’ll continue to improve and hopefully help them out with their rebuilding process.

2. Tell us about your draft class. Is there anything that makes it special in comparison to other classes? Where did your fellow draftees land, how are they doing? Did anyone turn out to be an unexpected steal of that draft based on what you know today? Do you think anyone in your draft class will become a hall of famer? If you’re new to the league, how do you think your class will do? Where do you think people will get drafted to?


Pete Moss is currently a member of the S44 DSFL draft, so all of the predictions will be made on the class that will be drafted into the DSFL this upcoming draft. In terms of predictions, my first would be that due to the class being so offense-heavy, the defenders will end up being steals in this draft. Just in terms of current TPE spent as of writing this, the highest would be Katarn, Doppleganger, and myself. Interestingly enough, two of the top 3 defenders are DTs, and I'm going to make a prediction now that one will make it to the HOF. I fully believe two of the top defenders being at the same position will mean they'll feed and compete off of each other, eventually launching one into stardom. In terms of draft position, however, due to the relative newness of Doppleganger, I believe he will be drafted first. Assuming he plans on staying active and his scouting went well, a first round pick on him would not shock me. 

Due to the lack of high earning DBs in the draft (as of writing this at least, a late create earning high is absolutely possible), I imagine WRs or receiving TEs going early will be big as well to take advantage of this gap. Someone like Jelani Avant could go quite high for instance. With Halfeatenonionbagel, his blocking TE archetype might hold him back in the draft, but archetypes might also be less important in the DSFL, so maybe not.

There's also currently two above minimum OL in the draft as well. I'm personally biased because I heavily overvalue user OL compared to bots, but due to their positional rarity, I think they'll end up being huge steals as GMs who don't value OL end up skipping them for flashier roles.

The draft has a bit of a QB competition as well between Thor, SomeSay, and ShadyShoelace (not counting a surprise late earner). Now, draft position can always change depending on if a player is willing to switch positions or not. But assuming they all stay at QB, my vote is going to go for Tua TurnDaBallOva. It was a toss up admittedly, with Thor having more TPE and Shady having been around longer, but Shady's negative bank balance turned me off from him and SomeSay having over 200 million in the bank shows how much effort he will put into the league.

I don't know where Maple Dogwood will end up, but wherever he goes it'll be a steal. RBs being so common will surely cause him to fall, but the combination of the user behind the create, the willingness and consistency to earn, and the amount of effort he will put into whatever locker room he goes to means that whoever gets him gets a steal.

With the multiple solid DT prospects, it's surprising to see only 3 DE creates, all new. I fully believe there will be a battle to try and grab one of these DE's in the hopes that they will become active again. Having a solid D-line is incredibly important, even if DE isn't necessarily the flashiest role at times. One of these three will be a steal, it just depends on who becomes active.

I'm not going to touch much on LB, due to the obvious bias of me being one of them. That being said, LB is I believe one of, if not the most common defender in the league. While I would love to label myself a steal as I belive mose people do, because of exclusively just how common the position is, it's hard to do so.

It's impossible to predict outcomes like this, especially when we can't even look at DSFL stats. But I'm sure there'll be at least one HOFer from this class, potentially even two if multiple QBs work out. Overall, I'm excited to see how it plays out.

Tier 1 Task 3

Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, the Colorado Yeti have been down on their luck. I fully believe that is about to change though. Just this past season the Yeti managed to maintain the status quo for themselves despite a few trades that put them down in TPE compared to where they had been the last few seasons. That tells me that the team may have finally found what works for them and looking forward now I hope to overcome the things that have been keeping them down. They have some incredible veterans who have stuck with the team regardless of its bad luck who are either entering their primes or are at least still close to it. Players like RAINN, Cross-Eriksen, Greene, Hutchinson, Musgrave-Smyth, and Hogmally have been there for the long haul and stuck through it in thick and thin. Now that they're at their best, they're poised to help push this team to the next level. You even have veterans like the Witchqueen and Kemp who have come into the team from other areas of the league because they see the potential and want to be part of that drive. And then there is the newcomers who really give this team a look at their future and what is in store. McDummy Jr, Marie Marie, and Malik Brooks are rising stars of this team and bring in the energy that the Yeti have been needing for a long while. You take into account the fresh faces they haven't called up yet and the ones they just drafted and I think it's easy to see how bright the future of this team is. Which brings us to next season. I think the Yeti are absolutely going to surprise everyone. I believe most teams will be expected the normal, unproductive Yeti of recent seasons, but they're in for a surprise. With one of the weakest rosters in the league and a rookie quarterback, the Yeti managed to show last season that they aren't just willing to go quietly. They took a game off of Cape Town, one of the league's premier teams and the reigning Champs. They beat several teams who were borderline playoff teams. They played close to some of the best and wouldn't go away in tight games. With some upgrades in several places, some call ups, and with their veterans finally rounding out into their primes and think those close games will finally bounce the Yeti's way. I could easily see an improvement of four wins in this team, which would put them at 10 and basically guarantee them playoffs. Chicago looks like they're a while off in their rebuild, Sarasota and YKW are good but finally look beatable for the first time in a while, Baltimore, Berlin and Cape Town just came off of playoff runs of their own, but are always wildcards. I think once the Yeti slip into playoffs, they'll have a solid chance at getting to the finals so they can be eliminated by Arizona! Jokes aside, I think this division has a huge shakeup this season. Baltimore and Berlin I believe stay good and are likely the best teams here, but the rest are really up for grabs. I think Chicago stays at the bottom. The middle four can go any way, but with Colorado stepping up I think it's enough to maybe push Cape Town down to fourth. So in first it's likely Baltimore, then Berlin, then Colorado slips in, followed by Cape Town, then YKW and SAR fight it out for fifth. Obviously I'm no expert here and am completely making this up off of hopes, prayers, and gut feeling, but I think Colorado gets over the hump and the losses they give to other division opponents should be enough to get them to the promised land. But the ASFC will still win the Ultimus.

24. You’re in charge of entertainment for the Ultimus or Ultimini half-time show. What would you do? (Written Task) (+2.5 TPE)
The half time show for the next ultimus should consist of a challenge among the coaches and team captains throughout the league to show the spirit of fun and community we have the ISFL. The obstacle course would consist of a 3-part event. We would first have the team captains compete in a course where there is a large inflatable water slide covered in soapy water. The team captains would then have to race to the top of the water slide using only a small bungee cord to pull themselves up. It would be fun watching the players fumble around while slipping and sliding as they tried to make their way to the top. The second obstacle would be for the team coaches. In a little role reversal, these would face off in a football throwing contest. They would have 1 minute to try and make as many throws of a football into a small target as they could. Finally, the last obstacle would be a 3-legged race with the coaches and captains working together to get to the end before the other teams. Seeing the members of the ISFL having fun in a relaxed competition would be great for the viewers and would have everyone cheering for their respective teams.

27. Imagine your current position was not available to be picked when you created your player. What other position would you have picked, and why? (Written Task) (2.5 TPE)
If the position of tight end was not available, I would have picked to be a linebacker. It’s not as glamorous as a position such as wide receiver or running back who consistently makes touchdowns, but it is still a deeply important position. It’s always great watching a defensive player make a quick stop to a play. If I was able to be a part of the defense and make the kind of plays that result in sacks or fumbles by the opposing team that would be satisfying. Especially since the defense contributes a great deal to the outcome of the game. Anytime the other team is kept to quick 3 and outs then you know there is a high chance of leaving with a victory. Also, just knowing you contributed to your quarterback being able to have the ball in his hands again and have that opportunity to score would be a great feeling.

Honestly if I was in charge and this was real I would just look at the rates of singers of who is doing well in the charts or just someone legendary who would do it for cheap that people would like. If unlimited funds is allowed then The Weeknd to do it again but this time with some cool people he'd like to do it with.

I doubt funds would be unlimited so if I am doing it on a budget I'd prolly go for more of a light show that people would like with some Phonk hype songs or more memes song that gets people going. Or hell maybe good remixes instead. Just something low budget or a drone show maybe? It is something different then. Worst case I would just throw Aneeq out there for 20 mins and just see how he does and give him nothing but a microphone. Good luck m8!

Okay this 1 is easier than most to talk about cause hands down this is the Portland Pythons for the Dev Sim Football League and in the majors it is the Berlin Fire Salamanders. Not opinion. Fact.

Now why would I say that? Cause I am biased and I do not care about the arguments. So I can just fit the agenda however I like. Portland cause it has history, amazing people, alliteration which is always lovely in my opinion for any sports theme and the logos and theme have always been on point.

Berlin is literally in europe so get rekt america. Germany is a lovely place to visit if you never have been, trust. The Fire Salamander is a very unique name and branding and the colours used are just great. Plus we have Dewalt so that is a huge boost to the entire branding as a whole. Great guy. So yeah, that is why these have the best.

33. When looking at the teams we have in the ISFL and DSFL, is there any team you believe is in need of a major rebrand or update to their current branding? Why or why not? (Written Task)

I feel like most people will be picking the Cape Town Crash to Philly Liberty with this one and I thought about doing it for chaos as well. But I love the reaction to this and them doing more than Philly ever did in the past 4 in real life years so I will pick the New Orleans Second Line or Colorado Yeti.

Both just need to rebrand into something better and to get rid of the baggage pain and suffering they bring for being them with them never winning in the past few years. Now maybe they're about to leave the rebuild next season and I just do not know the state of their respective windows but if anything it'd mean this is perfect. Do what the Crash did and rebrand to something respectable and get the rebrand off to the ultimate start of competing so you're not tackled to the terrible history they have in recent years. Smile.
