Tier 1: Long Form Tasks (Must be 600+ words)
Choose ONE for 10 TPE.
7. Write 600 words or more on something about anything in the league that interests you. It could be related to statistics, a league issue that you take seriously, or a niche part of history that doesn’t fit neatly into either of the above categories. This must be directly related to the league, so don’t wax 600 words about your team’s participation on a Werewolf server or something.
Ive had quite the beef with the league so far in how it calculates and relies on their banking system. Now the one thing all sim leagues can agree on is that the user base is dwindling a bit both from league toxicity that can happen as well as poor performance of players or teams. Now I talked to my friend Crunk about this and he had this to say about the math on all this.
You know they say that all leagues are created equal? You look at me and you look at the International simulation football league and you can see that statement is not true. You see normally if you go one on one with another simulation league, you got a fifty fift chance of winning. But I'm a genetic freak and so is the success of all the sim leagues, and I'm not normal! So you got a twenty five percent chance at best to potentially beat me.Then you add Pro baseball experience - simulation hockey league to the mix? Your chances of winning drastic go down. Now you see the 3 way banking system, you got a 33 1/3 chance of this working long term for all the leagues, but I, I got a sixty six and two thirds chance of winning for user retention with my cross league currency exchange idea, because the international simulation football head office KNOWS they can't beat me and they are not even gonna try! So International simulation football league head office, you take your thirty three and one third chance, minus my twenty five percent chance and you got an eight and one third chance of winning at long term user retention in comparison to my cross league currency exchange idea. Then you take my seventy five percent chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add sixty six and two thirds percents, I got one hundred and forty one and two thirds chance of winning at user retention. See international football simulation league head office, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at long term user retention.
I mean this for me seems about as clear as a sunny day for what the solution is for the long term success of all 3 sim leagues. Allow users to transfer funds between leagues at exchange rates fitting those leagues to allow players to be more active and retain much more over time as they wouldnt have to worry about slogging through hours and hours of media in multiple leagues in order just to afford weekly training. I myself constantly struggle just with the weekly dips and I dont even buy equipment because the income methods in this league are so limited I am forced to struggle with my player.
I want to see this implemented so that I can focus on the league I primarily enjoy most and find it easier to produce content and funds for so that I can also help out my friends in a league they themselves might enjoy more. I only see this as a league wide benefit and those who push against it need to reconsider as soon as possible. At the very least can we set this up between the Pro baseball experience and the international simulation football league? Lets all band together to support Crunk and his inspiring speech as to why this needs to happen and keep both leagues with a large amount of actives for maximum success and health of the leagues over years to come. Please @Crunk bring this back to the powers that be and also into the public eye so we can see the brilliance that is this plan for the benefit to all people of the land (631 words)
