Purdy Medicore is a young running back from Canada, from a young age he had always found enjoyment in football. He would watch any and all of it Canadian league, College, DSFL and ISFL. He was a studios of the game and learnt everything he could around it. So it was no surprise from the moment he could start playing football he did. Studying film and hitting the gym to become the physical freak that he is today. In high school he shattered the league records for bathing receiving and rushing yards and all purpose TD’s. It would be no surprise that he would end up being heavily recruited to the states for college. Despite having multiple offers on the table on commitment day he would end up deciding to attend Iowa State University. There he would again continue to impress with furthering his career but also began to live life a little. He found time not to only compete and continue to work on his game but to start having some fun with teammates. Perhaps sometimes a little to much fun as he started to get a bit of a reputation for being a party man. One that may even rival that of the famous Blue Mountain State legendary parties of Thad Castle. It was likely for these reasons that he started to slide in the DSFL Draft. Between that and it being a loaded Running Back draft it should come as no surprise that Purdy fell to the second round. Despite this he seemed to find a nice balance this year and was able to put on a show on the field which likely has boosted his draft stock come the ISFL draft now. Now in saying that it sounds like Mediocre has quite shed the partying habit though as sources close to the player have noted that he has booked a venue including a DJ for a closed door event at one of the biggest clubs in Kansas City.

This past season really started off with a bang when Lenard McRobinson, put on one of the best performances of the year, and helped lead to the absolute route of London with a 62-14, this set the standards high for this young team. The team would follow it up with a much closer win over Portland. This is where the season really took a turn though and looked like it was all going off the rails. The Coyotes would then drop the next 4 games to the Grey ducks, Seawolves, Buccaneers and Birddogs. Which brought them to a must win game at this point of the season against the Luchadores. In what can only be described as a masterclass of defensive abilities the Yotes were able to hold Tijuana to 10 points allowing the team to win despite only putting up 19 themselves. This would prove to be the difference maker in the season as they would then go on to win the next 4 games after it bringing their record back to 7-4 and putting them on top of the division. This seemed to be the trend of the Coyotoes this season though as they would drop the next 3 bringing their record back to 7-7 on the season. Lucky for them they held the tie breakers and allowed them to finish top of the division despite the weak final 3 weeks of the season. However despite this lack of success recently they were ready to battle for the conference championship where they faced off against non other than the Pythons. In what was mostly a defensive battle the Coyotes were able to again hold the Pythons high flying offense to 10 points and in crucial later part of the game force a fumble that would seal the win for the Coyotes. Their luck would run out in the championship game though when they would meat the powerhouse Tijuana Luchadores again who would get the upper hand on them early and never relinquish it. Overall it was a great season and looking forward to running it back next season.
