Defensive Line Standouts - Week 11
Welcome to week 11 of our Season 3 Defensive Line Standouts! Life got in the way a bit this weekend so I’ll be doing the list only, without analysis (except for the steam standings). I hope to back to normal by week 13/14 and our end of the season review.
Defensive End Top Performers
B. Blade ($ x6) 9 TCK, 3 TFL, 3 SCK
R. Maddox ($$$) 4 TCK, 3 TFL, 1 SCK
D. Dam ($$$) 4 TCK, 2 SCK
Other Great Performers
J. Boom ($ x6) 6 TCK, 1 TFL, 1 SCK
J. Tuck ($ x9) 5 TCK, 1 TFL, 1 SCK
A. de Ligt ($$$$) 3 TCK, 1 TFL, 1 SCK
Defensive Tackle Top Performers
K. Hendrix ($$$$) 7 TCK, 1 TFL, 4 SCK
D. Miller ($ x11) 7 TCK, 3 SCK
G. King ($ x5) 5 TCK, 1 TFL, 3 SCK
Other Great Performers
V. Cox ($ x8) 5 TCK, 2 SCK
R. Sandoval BAL ($ x9) 3 TCK, 1 TFL, 1 SCK
J. Cox ($$$$) 3 TCK, 2 TFL, 1 fumble recovered
Team Appearances After Week 11*
Baltimore: 23 - 2
San Jose: 20 - 2
Arizona: 19 - 3
Orange County: 17 - 2
Las Vegas: 17 - 2
Yellowknife: 14 - 1
Philadelphia: 11 - 0
Colorado: 10 - 0
There are zero changes in the standings this week as the top five teams all had at least two players make out list. Colorado and Philadelphia continue to hold down the bottom and both dug themselves in a tad deeper with neither team having a player appear on our list this week. This is Philadelphia’s second week in a row without a player on our list. Dan Miller, of the San Jose SaberCats, continues his ridiculous streak at eleven appearances in eleven weeks.
*Just a reminder, this ranking is not necessarily indicative of how well a team’s defense is operating as a whole. For example, Arizona leads the league in sacks by 18 but, is currently third on our list in number of individual appearances.
