Since I have only been in the league for one season, there is not much events to go off of. I guess the best or biggest memory I have so far would be the bonds I have made with some of the S47 rookies. I feel like I have made great relationships with players like Brad Woof, Tim Riggins, Roquefort Cotswald, and Walter Yensid. We all bonded over being new creates and being some of the most active members in the class of season 47. Also, I have loved the relationship I have formed with Willeh, the S48 Portland rookie LB, due to us both excelling at yapping. In fact, I have decided to title Willeh as my yap prodigy. These 5 close bonds have been massive in my enjoyment of the ISFL leagues. Without some of these guys, I doubt I would be nearly as active as I am. In fact, Willeh and I recently made a media chain called “Whats Yappening” which will be fun to make in the future.
I have not even played a single snap in the DSFL but I am already loving what this league is about and stands for and I look forward to being a part of it for the next 50 seasons. That said my favorite memory is far and away creating my player's wiki page and specifically the back story. It was fun to have made that a week after making my player and not knowing that was even a thing I could do. Having the basic facts like hometown and college and working to craft a story that incorporates those was a blast. I spent far too long trying to perfect the tale of how a Colombian-German boy fell in love with football having been born to parents who grew up knowing football as a completely different sport. Given how enjoyable these two weeks have been I look forward to creating many more memories and sharing my favorite ones in the future.
I have a couple options for this, from my best season as a player, to the best team I've been on, to the one championship trophy next to my name, but I think I'm going to go with the big All Time ISFL draft. Somoene that I can't remember came up with something that was a great idea and I think it just turned out really well, even if it was a little scuffed to do everything over discord across timezones and multiple weeks. We got to explore some REAL old players, actually got some people that were completely passed over into the Hall of Fame after years of them being left out, and overall it was just a fun experience with some old and new heads. I kind of wish I could do it over again sometime, but it was a bit of an ordeal last time and I don't know who I'd invite.
I found this league over this past summer after a post on r/nfl. So admittedly my league history is short. Though this has been a hobby that was missing and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. When I first started, I was unsure as to how I would make enough money to fully participate in the league. Media writing seemed like my ticket to earning my keep. That first season, I remember buying tiers of equipment one at a time as I tried to make sure that I wrote enough articles to buy the weekly training each week. Of course, I had to put math into things and started tracking stats in different ways. After a few fun ideas, I saw my name pop up on a Gemini Awards article. I honestly had no idea what this was yet I was awarded 2 Gemini's in my first season. After that, the media writing became much more part of my identity on this site. In fact, I have spent the past few seasons working toward the one Gemini that I haven't won, "Best Series". The Dominator Power Rankings were my go to series. After two nominations but no awards (though who knows this time around?), it is time to try my hand at another format to complete the Gemini Triple Crown!

I havent been in the league that long (I joined in S44) but some of my best sim league experiences have been here, first thing ill say is gm'ing and winning a ultimini was a ton of fun and I was very happy after that. some other memmorys I have is when I got 1 sack and 1 TFL in the same game and that was a career game. there's a few memmorys I have from discord like the fun we had during S44 prospect bowl. i also remember getting drafted to the ISFL and having the wrong sig made so someone made me one and that was real goofy, I have one more memory and its when I first joined the league. i considered joining the league for a while as I had an account made but didn't create for a few weeks after that, i created after gadget and gumba (two people on my SHL team) were talking about the league.
My time here has been really short so far, so I can't really say that I have a whole bunch of memories or anything. I think the first draft is probably going to stay up there for a while though. I think the draft experience in general was really cool, with all of the hype around who would get drafted, the mocks, the interviews, etc, it was all a really fun process that I haven't experienced much elsewhere. The level of seriousness people treated it with was awesome, so when it finally came time to actually getting drafted, it was the neat payoff of what was a great build-up. It's made me really hyped to basically repeat this whole process again next season for the ISFL, and while I imagine I'll be making a lot more memories in the months to come, I think my first draft is one of those things that will always stand out to me.

Wow. Fifty seasons? Just WOW! Incredible, splendiferous, and outstanding. Me, you know, me as a member of this community, I think that hitting the big Five-Oh is oh so cool. Yet, I have not done much to make that happen. Have I scouted some legends? Yeah. I think my biggest accomplishment was scouting exilate, a.k.a Lonnie Jackson, while I was a member of the Tijuana Luchadores War Room. That's right! I have been around for a little bit, be it with varying periods of activity and visibility. I tend to lurk. As an adult, who has varying time commitments, I think that this has been a truly unique escape from reality. With my first player, I had time at the beginning of my relationship with my now wife. Life was all starting, as I blessed the league with Drip Dad. Now, I'm married, and exactly 20 seasons later, McDripsen McDropsen has slid into the scene. But hey, I really loved the WFC!
One thing I’ve grown to appreciate about the league as time has passed is the community. I’ve met a lot of cool people on here and it seems everyone is always super helpful and excited about my achievements. This community is exactly what I kind of needed. I’ve had a rough past few years to out it lightly and one things that’s always kept me sane is sports and friends. This is like a perfect mixture of both to me. People like Electric tree and FirstFray have never let me down since joining this league. When ever I didn’t understand something or simply just wanted someone to share my joy with they have been there. I still am new to the league but I feel like I’ve already made a lot of great memories from my 80 yard TD , making it to the mini, to finally this past week getting my first catch in my first game in the ISFL ! I know there’s going to be more people and more memories to enjoy. I strongly look forward to it. Thanks for letting me join such a great community and enjoy such an awesome game with you guys. -MMAJAKE710
With the 50th season approaching, far and away the most favorite thing I can remember and what I feel to be my biggest contribution to the league is the Yellowknife Wraith. I was one of the founding fathers of the ISFL and the head GM of the Wraith as one if the first teams to enter the league. It was really cool to come.back to the league and see that the original team and it's name remained after 45+ seasons. It's a great memory to have and funny how they were almost the White Walkers and not the Wraith until a last minute decision changed my mind. Lots has changed in the league but it's cool to see that team remain intact except for a logo change to help generate real life money for the league. I have received plenty of good feedback and I'm proud that it has remained such a fan favorite among the ISFL members.
