Written option: With the league's fiftieth season only around half a year away, reflect on your own history in the league. What memories and moments of your time in the ISFL are you most fond of? Tell the story and explain why it stands out. If you prefer, write about your player's most important memories instead.
Oh boy. I first joined the ISFL back in the old days, I believe it was season 6 (maybe 8). It was still called the NSFL back then and I needed something to do. My player was Dwayne Aaron, a wide receiver who went to the Portland Pythons in the minor leagues. I put up good enough numbers to get drafted in the top 5 picks to the Colorado Yeti. We didn't do too hot, and my memory is shaky, but eventually I was offered a GM position which I probably should not have taken. In hindsight, I was completely inexperienced and my life got drastically more busy, preventing me from putting in the time I needed to run the Yeti as well as I needed to. I went inactive on DA, focusing what little time I had on trying to help run the Yeti but most of the work was still being done by the other staff members. I don't exactly remember what happened at that point, at some point I went completely inactive due to IRL and the Yeti continued on. Overall, I was way in over my head and should have handed the reigns off to someone far more capable. Dwayne Aaron is still #10 all time in Yeti rec yards and rec TDs, so at least I have that going for me haha.
