Have I ever mentioned how much I hate losing to teams that my team should absolutely not lose to?
That aside, the Crash are in a deep hole. Projected to be one of the best teams in the Conference and an easy choice for playoffs, they have stumbled out of the gate to a 1-3 start. The first game was positively golden, a shutout and blowout of one of the worst teams in the entire league was just what the team wanted to see after losing so many of that sort of game down the stretch last season. Then Week 2 came around and the Butchers decided to continue to be a boogeyman, winning a game that they had worse yards per attempt and yards per carry, but won because they got 2 turnovers and recovered all 3 of their own fumbles. Losses to Arizona at home and Baltimore away, while expected, leave us in a deep hole 2 games outside of the lead for the conference. Thankfully, 2 of the hardest games on the schedule are out of the way and the Crash should still be able to make the playoffs, but it's a lot more fragile of a position now.
