And having an active OL is generally going to be preferable to a bot. However, teams shouldn't become trash just because there aren't enough OL to field the positions.
All this does is puts out infinite supply of OL for a hefty budget hit. Meanwhile, a team would want to draft you so they could get a player that upgrades throughout the year instead of a stagnant OL, and probably sign you for cheaper than a bot. (The bot prices are meant to be high to encourage teams to field anyone that wants to play OL).
