I am Ash Ketchup here with your weekly sports news! Today we sit down with a DSFL prospect and cornerback Terrell Brister!
Ash: So, the draft is tomorrow. Where on the board do you see yourself going?
Terrell: No one can predict that. This is a draft with a lot of talented defensive guys.
Ash: How many years would you play in the DSFL?
Terrell: I am playing more than one. I need to be the best I can be before playing in the NSFL. I also don’t want a team to feel like they wasted their pick for a guy who will leave right away.
Ash: What team would you like to play for?
Terrell: The Marshalls. They have a pretty nice defense where I feel I can become a leader of the secondary. Also San Antonio would be a different experience than Boston, and a good one I hope. But really, I would play for anyone who gives me a chance.
Ash: Growing up did you expect to make it to this far in your football career?
Terrell: Growing up I actually played basketball. I had interest from some colleges but I decided to play football for my final 2 years of High School, and I like to think I did okay. So no, I never expected to be here, I expected to be playing pro basketball.
Ash: Would you consider yourself to have a big ego?
Terrell: I like to think everyone in pro sports, especially at this level, has at least a small ego. I have one, whenever I am on the football field I believe I am better than everyone else. But I also try to make my team better. I’ve always been a teacher on the field.
Ash: Well that is all for us today! I’ll see you after the draft?
Terrell: Sure.
Ash: Awesome, That's all!
