Written option: We're nearing the end of the season and the playoff race is tightening.  Looking ahead at the final games of the ISFL or DSFL regular season, which game or games would you highlight for a primetime spot? What are the playoff or season record implications of the game?  Are there any players to keep an eye out for in the game, whose your X-factor?

At a 10-3 record, the Yellowknife Wraiths and the Baltimore Hawks are tied for first in the conferene with the Hawks currently holding the tie breaker between the two.

For Gustzáv Farkas and the Yellowknife Wraiths the week 14 away game at Osaka will prove to be a big one. Before finishing the season with two home games against the Fire Salamanders and Yeti, the Kaiju will prove to be a worthy opponent which can put a stop the Wraiths plans to finish first in the conference.

The Hawks have one home game and two away games, including a brutal Week 16 away against the Second Line to look forward to. Although the week 14 match up at home against the Sarasota Sailfish may prove to be a tricky one as well.

With both teams having arguably one very touch match remaining we might just see both these teams finish with an idential record. Due to the Hawks leg up on the Wraiths this would see them earn a BYE and get to rest up till the conference final, leaving the Wraiths with an extra game as they try to win anohter Ultimus.

It's an exciting time in the NSFC and as a Wraiths player, hope we can edge out a conference win here at the end.

As a rookie, I don’t know about too much about the competition of this whole league. A few days ago I was put on waiver and picked up by the Dallas Bird Dogs(who are having a very good season) if I had joined about a month ago I would have said that the game against London would have been peak. But’s that game was a few days ago and while we won that that game by a nice margin o need to find a good game. After looking though our schedule I think I found a good game. The Dallas Bird Dogs VS the Norfolk Seawolves. They are both on the same league and at the moment they have the same record this season with 5 wins 4 losses and 1 tie. This may seem like a basic game in the miner leagues but to my team it’s is pretty big game for what it’s worth

I would flex the Week 12 Matchup of Norfolk vs Dallas. 

Both teams are currently tied at the top of their conference. This game could have big payoff, or ramifications with the multiple ways it could go the week before. These teams could be looking to break their tie, reinstate, or even gain a lead on the other team. Both teams are making their playoff pushes with the Luchadores close behind losing this game could cost them a playoff spot for either team. This game is set up for prime time just by how the table is falling, and on top of the fact the teams tied the last time they met in the year.

A tie would be probably be the most interesting out come, as both teams would then have a full game worth of wins from ties. 

Either way I think that Week 12 matchup between the Seawolves, and the Birddogs as the the most prime time potential.

The end of the season is fast approaching in the DSFL, and the Dallas Birddogs remain in a dead heat with the Norfolk Seawolves for the South conference lead at 5-4-1. The two teams are evenly matched through and through - they even tied their first matchup, a 28-28 thriller in week 3 of the young season. However, the stakes are higher than ever as the playoffs draw near. Even beyond the benefits of seeding, 4-6 Tijuana refuses to go away at third place in the conference, meaning that a slump to end the season could result in a finish outside of the postseason altogether. The Birddogs are coming off a convincing double-digit win over the juggernaut London Royals, and ride a 2-game win streak. Meanwhile, Norfolk righted the ship, snapping a two game losing streak with a convincing road victory. The two contenders will face off in perhaps the biggest game of the season in week 12, in Dallas, with the winner having the inside track to the first seed and the loser fighting for the playoffs.
