The Portland Pythons mascot is obviously a serpent snake python that would be much like Jake the Snake Robert's gimmick from the old school wrasslin' days. If Jake Roberts was available we'd even have him bring out the famous Python just like Jake used to bring his Python down to the ring. We probably wouldn't have him bring out the Python in the sack like he did, that seems a bit risky with animal rights concerns. We'd probably have it setup like more of a Britney Spears deal, where Jake would just come out with the snake around him almost wearing it like a fashion accessory. We also probably wouldn't let Jake set his snake on Macho Man Randy Savage or anyone else for that matter. The Python's name would be Petey or something that starts with a "P", maybe Penelope if that worked better. Anyway, the snake mascot would be pretty sweet but if that got to be too difficult because of needing zoo keepers for the snakes, we could also just make a giant mascot suit that is a snake and that would probably be good too.
The Colorado Yeti has a great history in the league. Being one of the oldest teams in the league means our experience and brand are well known and these leads to our mascot being known around the league as well. Yuri the Yeti is a staple of the Colorado history and one of the most popular mascots in the league, during both good times and (more recently) bad. Yuri is both friendly and competitive, being a part of mascot competitions in the league which is a staple of the league. Fans love Yuri and will line up to take pictures before and after the game but the best part is the performances during the game as well as what Yuri brings to the locker room and stadium outside of game time. During the game, Yuri hops on his portable snow board rider and for every big play the Yeti make, will do a trick on his snow board. This ranges from basic tricks like ollies and flips to more complex ones that I can't even describe. It's unique as no other mascot uses a snow board but even more so by the fact that all this is done in the mascot costume which makes it extremely difficult and requires years of practice to perfect. Outside of game time, Yuri does something similar to Bluey where he'll throw snowballs at unexpected players and employees of the COL team which makes for great social media as well as increases morale which is much needed in recent seasons. All of the Yeti players love Yuri and think he is a big part of why they play and perform how they do.
In the Orange County Otters' stadium, there sits a large tank in the north endzone, around 30-40 rows above the field level. In that tank, sits four otters that have been adopted for the team. Those otters, taken care of by hired officials from the Orange County Aquarium, have become cult heroes among the Orange County fanbase. Every time people go to games they walk over to the giant tank and take a picture with the otters, who sometimes play with the fans. In the tank, they are well-fed and well-taken care of, with a ton of fish being given to them and a ton of toys for them to play with. The most popular toy in the tank is a collection of balls shaped like footballs (except they were more inflatable style). Fans love to throw the ball lightly at the otters and watch them wither catch it with their hands or headbutt it like a soccer ball.

The mascot for Orange County is Otterman! Half man, half otter! This was not originally the concept behind the mascot though. It originally was a full otter mascot, similar looking to the mascot of the famous gas station chain Buccees. However, during one game in Orange County, a day with record setting heat levels, the Otter mascot had become overheated and decided to remove the top half of his Otter outfit. Just as he was doing this, a fan and their child rounded the corner. The child screamed in terror, as they had truly believed the original Otter was real. In an act of quick thinking, the man with just half an Otter mascot proclaimed "Nice to meet you! I'm Otterman! Half man, half otter!" This soothed the scared child, and with others having arrived at the scene to follow the sound of the child's scream, the mascot had to keep the act going. Therefore, it became a permanent fixture. The marketing team built a whole lore design around Otterman, turning him into a sort of superhero with the power to talk to otters. It was strange and a bit corny, but Otterman is beloved by Orange County fans.
