I'm gonna break down random facts about the league after the first two weeks of play. I will explain what they may mean as well because why the fuck not, right?
Josh Garden has caught as many touchdowns (5) as the entire Baltimore, Colorado, and Las Vegas rosters combined.
What does it mean?
The Outlaws are passing a fuckton. In fact the only team that has as many receiving tds as Garden alone is San Jose. The entire Outlaw touchdown total is 7, which is as much as the three teams mentioned plus Yellowknife. Obviously this can't possibly stand but it really is an interesting break to the brand new season and expectations.
Nicholas Pierno has gone 48/91 for 568 yards 1 TD and 7 ints, compared to lat season's start of 21/66 for 244 yards, 0 tds and 7 ints.
What does it mean?
It means the kid is improving. The framework is still being built but it's a clear, distinct, unquestionable step up from where he was this time last year. The biggest underdog story in NSFL history is still in it's early stages but things are looking up.
The San Jose Sabercats(Sabrecats) lead the league with 8 interceptions.
What does it mean?
Well, it means the defense might just be on the uptick. now, they ddin't exactly play two powerhouse offenses so it could be way to early to be heaping this praise on them. On the other hand, fuck that noise what is the point of NOT heaping way too much praise way too early? Speculation is like 48.2% of the fun. The Cats have also caused the most fumbles and scored the most defensive touchdowns.
The Arizona Outlaws have lost two regular season or playoff games at home. Ever. Both were to the Baltimore Hawks. Both were won by 3 points thanks to the foot of Turk Turkleton. In season 3 in overtime and in season one with 28 seconds left in the game.
What does it mean?
Turk Turkleton is the shit. That's why he's on my fantasy team. He's never missed a field goal in Arizona. The man is the Outlaw killer. Heh. You thought this was gonna be about my team didn't you? You were wrong. Turk Turkleton is the single most underrated valuable player in the league.
Colorado and San Jose shared last place for rushing touchdowns in season 3 with 6 each. They already have a total of 6 rushing touchdowns this year.
What does it mean?
Well, though the bots have been off to a bit of a mixed start, there is some obvious difference in the success of running for teams who struggled with it. The fact that the two worst teams are both having significantly greater success on the ground is due at least in part to the changes.
Unexpected Trivia Portion:
