Hello, it is time for my FINAL mock draft for this season, this one is both informed by GMs and other war room members while also doing some effort to fil in the gaps using info i know from the team and whatnot, I am hoping to get close with my mock but I would not be surprised if there was a few different picks but i guess without further adiu i will be mocking bellow
When talking to Chicago, they seemed kinda dedicated to improving their RB and DL, and with that. They seemed to imply at the moment that Willie Swaggert might be the frontrunners in the windy city so far, and as a former GM of two different DSFL teams and a general good LR presence im sure he will be a great pick for the Butchers
The Second Line expressed interest in bringing an experienced vet into the locker room, and with the strong connections TomHanks has to both New Orleans, as the GM who originally drafted Second Line GM Mobi, and to Tijuana, where the other GM Baz, and several other war room members are a part of, it feels like a solid pick to bring Tom back home
Speaking of former players getting taken by their old team, I have the Yeti selecting a user that has spent time on his last three players with Woelkers. Woelkers, the current DSFL commish will be a massive user and player for the Yeti, and they will be hoping Henry can perform the herculean task of helping the yeti get to the Ultimus
The Otters will happily look at this draft and see Bex still on the board, and will happily be selecting the former commish with their first pick. Bex will be able to come in and make an immediate impact for the otters and will be an amazing user to have among the otter ranks
The Wraiths have mentioned that they really would love to improve their DL and with a great new user in Doctor Who there the wraith will happily be bringing the doctor to Yellowknifes, and could be the next great Wraith DL.
The Fire Salamanders did not give too much info however I believe that they will view the DB room as their biggest need long term, and I think that Dagon is the best DB available and would be an excellent pick for the Salamanders to help get younger in the secondary
Sarasota has some desire to get a bit more talent on the defensive side of the ball and with the former GM of the Philadelphia Liberty on the board, it would be hard to see him slide too much further, with connections to several users on the Sailfish cody should fit in well with the sailfish locker room
Austin will pick their next GM pugwalrus with their pick. Not much more needed to say but it would be wild if this wasnt the pick as then they would be in the market for a new GM
With the retirement of Fat Jack, the silverbacks have a pretty obvious hole in the DL, and CaptainDMG would be an excellent user to fill that long term hole in the Big Apple. This should be a great new users to add to the locker room
The Crash have expressed a desire to add some youth to their Defense and at this selection there is another great new user in Ali Star who the Crash will be thrilled to be able to snag a great new create in Ali Star who should be able to help rejuvenate an aging linebacker core
The Crash after selecting a defensive player with their first pick, will likely look at their former player JOEB as the selection here. JOEB Spent his entire first career with the franchise formerly known as the Philadelphia Liberty and im sure Negs will be thrilled to bring him home to help block for the Crash for years to come
Well this is my final mock for the seasons, I did my best to get information from different sources however im sure that the real draft will have some more twist and turns and there are a few teams who might end up doing something completely different however I think this should be somewhat close to the real deal
1oa: Chicago Butchers
Selection: RB Willie Swaggert @GlimsTC
When talking to Chicago, they seemed kinda dedicated to improving their RB and DL, and with that. They seemed to imply at the moment that Willie Swaggert might be the frontrunners in the windy city so far, and as a former GM of two different DSFL teams and a general good LR presence im sure he will be a great pick for the Butchers
2oa: New Orleans Second Line
Selection: S Paul Edgecomb @TomHanks
The Second Line expressed interest in bringing an experienced vet into the locker room, and with the strong connections TomHanks has to both New Orleans, as the GM who originally drafted Second Line GM Mobi, and to Tijuana, where the other GM Baz, and several other war room members are a part of, it feels like a solid pick to bring Tom back home
3oa: San Jose Sabercats
Selection: RB Kit Fisto @Pvtpenne
SJS are another team that they are looking for another running back to create a strong one two punch, and i think that an obvious selection for them would be to bring back a long time player in Penne, who can be a major player both on and off the field for the sabercats 4oa: Colorado Yeti
Selection: RB Hercules Henry @woelkers
Speaking of former players getting taken by their old team, I have the Yeti selecting a user that has spent time on his last three players with Woelkers. Woelkers, the current DSFL commish will be a massive user and player for the Yeti, and they will be hoping Henry can perform the herculean task of helping the yeti get to the Ultimus
5oa: Orange County Otters
Selection LB Siri Kjellström @bex
The Otters will happily look at this draft and see Bex still on the board, and will happily be selecting the former commish with their first pick. Bex will be able to come in and make an immediate impact for the otters and will be an amazing user to have among the otter ranks
6oa: Yellowknife Wraiths
Selection: DE Doctor Who @thewhovian
The Wraiths have mentioned that they really would love to improve their DL and with a great new user in Doctor Who there the wraith will happily be bringing the doctor to Yellowknifes, and could be the next great Wraith DL.
7oa: Berlin Fire Salamanders
Selection: S Sebastian Lovecraft @Dagon
The Fire Salamanders did not give too much info however I believe that they will view the DB room as their biggest need long term, and I think that Dagon is the best DB available and would be an excellent pick for the Salamanders to help get younger in the secondary
8oa: Arizona Outlaws
Selection: LB Xavier Buckley@CptGoosar
The Outlaws have a pretty major need in the LB department with all three of their starters in regression and only one Linebacker in the pipeline. The Outlaws love bringing back former players and Goosar spent the bulk of his career with the Outlaws and will be a great selection for them at this point 9oa: Sarasota Sailfish
Selection: LB Perry Passiveman@Cody
Sarasota has some desire to get a bit more talent on the defensive side of the ball and with the former GM of the Philadelphia Liberty on the board, it would be hard to see him slide too much further, with connections to several users on the Sailfish cody should fit in well with the sailfish locker room
10oa: Austin Cooperheads
Selection: DT Oops All-Pro @PugWalrus
Austin will pick their next GM pugwalrus with their pick. Not much more needed to say but it would be wild if this wasnt the pick as then they would be in the market for a new GM
11oa: New York Silverbacks
Selection DT Emerson Bigguns @CaptainDMG
With the retirement of Fat Jack, the silverbacks have a pretty obvious hole in the DL, and CaptainDMG would be an excellent user to fill that long term hole in the Big Apple. This should be a great new users to add to the locker room
12oa: Cape Town Crash (Via Baltimore)Selection
LB Ali Star @ProdigalSon
The Crash have expressed a desire to add some youth to their Defense and at this selection there is another great new user in Ali Star who the Crash will be thrilled to be able to snag a great new create in Ali Star who should be able to help rejuvenate an aging linebacker core
—-----------------------------------------------New Two Picks are still up in the air-----------------------------------------------------
13/14oa Cape Town Crash Selection
Selection: OL Klaus von Reinherz @J0EB
The Crash after selecting a defensive player with their first pick, will likely look at their former player JOEB as the selection here. JOEB Spent his entire first career with the franchise formerly known as the Philadelphia Liberty and im sure Negs will be thrilled to bring him home to help block for the Crash for years to come
13/14oa: Honolulu Hahalua
Selection Juran Riley @Huskies311
The Hahalua are also looking to help reboost their defense inorder to keep a window open, and a long term user in Huskies might be an attractive option. Once upon a time Huskies was the GM of the Baltimore Hawks and the Hahalua are hoping he can hit those heights again with this playerWell this is my final mock for the seasons, I did my best to get information from different sources however im sure that the real draft will have some more twist and turns and there are a few teams who might end up doing something completely different however I think this should be somewhat close to the real deal
