Recently I was approached by the wonderful folks over at SunRype to promote their delicious juice products. I was pretty eager to sign up for their promotion; SunRype was a staple in the Kane household. My favourite thing about this was that they had a rather unorthodox approach to advertising. No television commercial, no radio plugs, not even photo ads in magazines. The folks on their marketing team wanted a more personal and immersive experience. A few players from different sport teams will be going to schools and parks and setting up sample booths to hand out juice to kids. I am pretty excited for this opportunity as it gives me a chance to interact with our youth and hopefully I can brighten their day. I think more companies should take this approach to advertising and it should be a lot of fun. I hope they don't have any terrible script that they want me to use, Marcus Kane speaks from the heart!
