Like: As someone who came over after being a part of the PBE first, the thing I really liked here that they only recently added to PBE was the use of Twitter. The biggest thing that keeps a league like this going and enjoyable is the influx of new people every new season. Social media is, in my opinion, the quickest and easiest way to get people interested and making players. Not only that, it allows for some fun interactions with people role-playing as their character and really bringing them to life. The weekly money as an incentive is also great especially for new players like myself trying to get some easy cash to grow their player.
Removed: Just based on the size of football teams and the number of active people I've noticed, I'd probably say that a team or two might need to be dropped unless there is a rather large influx of new actives. Personally, I don't think that an 8 team league is long-term sustainable without needing a ton of bots to fill positions. This might not be the best indicator, but each activity check thread only has around 100 replies. Just based on the fact that every team has about 24 starting spots, 100 replies is only about half the leagues spots, and that isn't even taking into account DSFL. That seems like a lot of spots being taken up by bots.
Added: I really think that a huge step in the right direction would be adding game commentary or a post-game/sim show. Talking about current storylines, playoff picture, and all that jazz would be great for new viewers and players. For myself, I had to do my own outside research to find out players to keep an eye on in-game, rising stars, overperformers, etc. In my opinion, it'd really do wonders for immersion and bringing the games to life. Even just a little bit of commentary every once in a while is better than nothing. Also, maybe having a matchup of the week that gets scheduled as the last game of the night? Sort of like MNF.
