I have always wanted to be a wide receiver, and when I was picked up by the Pythons I got to live my dream. The first season it took me a little bit to get caught up, but by the end of it I was clearly making a name for myself. I was drafted #4 by the Yeti and decided to play one more year in the DSFL to develop.
My second year with the Pythons was strong. I led receivers in almost every category and we ended the season winning the Ultimini. It was bittersweet though, as I made a declaration of a position change to running back to start my NSFL career.
So far it's been a rough transition, pre-season looked good but pre-season doesn't mean much. In two games I have 29 carries and less than 100 yards. Some are saying bust, but I know that I can turn this around just like my first year in the DSFL. Just wait for it guys.
