Without knowing a whole lot about the state of the NSFL teams, I'm going to venture out there and say the Baltimore Hawks need to think about a rebuild of some kind. Right now, they've seen a division rival in Philadelphia tear it down almost to the bones and yet they're still ahead of the Hawks in the standings. There's still some games left, but right now Baltimore is sitting dead last in their division. Their main players are all getting older, including their star quarterback and running back. They are still effective players, but unfortunately the rest of the team isn't really helping them out. By the time the rest of the team catches up, Blocksdale and Taylor will be shells of their former selves. As harsh as it may seem, the Hawks should look to sell some pieces and get some draft capital. With those picks, they need to get their future franchise quarterback and their future franchise running back. You just can't win without those two positions being your best. With the trade deadline passing this season, Baltimore will need to make their moves in the off-season and get ready to draft their new stars. There a couple of big name prospects at both positions in this upcoming NSFL draft, including quarterback Kevin Fitzpatrick and running back Marquise Brown. If Baltimore can nab something from this draft, those players will grow with the rest of their young roster and hopefully fight for contention in the next 2 or 3 seasons.
