There's a player that has been in the league for a long time who has barely been mentioned for the hall of fame that I honestly think should be a lock, and that is Dermot Lavelle of the Yellowknife Wraiths. Since his first season in the league Dermot Lavelle has amassed an impressive 34 interceptions, 129 passes defended, and 477 tackles. I'd say these numbers should not only make him a lock for the hall of fame, but would also say that he has a chance to be one of the best corner backs in the history of the NSFL. To add to his impressive stats, it looks as though Dermot Lavelle will have one of the longest careers in the NSFL. Some players that started in the same season his Dermot Lavelle have already retired (like Tyler Oles and Vincent Sharpei), Lavelle is going strong still with several years left on his contract (though each year he has a player option in the case that he may have unexpectedly retire). With his first Ultimus under his belt (and another one on the way according to analysts who are predicting the coming season), Dermot Lavelle's longevity, individual statistics and team accomplishments show him to be a lock for the NSFL hall of fame in this member's opinion.
