Danny Grithead does a series of strenuous workouts every single day in his own house before going to practice at the Kansas City Coyotes facility. Straight out of bed, which is a bench press bench for Grithead, he stretches his arms out to meet the barbell. After doing 20 reps to get warmed up, Grithead heads downstairs, where he curls the milk jug 100 times on each arm before pouring it into his Wheaties, very notably cereal first then milk. After having his breakfast and powering up for the day, Grithead foregoes the car parked in his driveway and instead sprints for 10 miles to the Kansas City facilities. His decision to run in the morning is often dangerous, as he has to run alongside 6 lanes of traffic on the highway, but morning cardio really gets the blood flowing for the rest of the day. With this daily regimen, in addition to training camp, Grithead enters the season in great shape.
