The Sabercats went 2-2 in pre-season which is pretty decent if you ask me. They were 0-2 before they woke up to save the PS even though this thing doesn't even matter. The question is, will San Jose's defence be able to have a good defence. Some analytics already praised SJS defs and their work ethic, but now they will need to convert it into the field. So far seems like only Richter is about to let the team down, the other guys are still hungry for wins and tackles, including your favorite wannabe SS Clee Hardrool who's actually playing as a free safety. He managed to collect 19 tackles, 3 penalties and 15 yards in 4 pre-season games and I think he did a good job, knowing that these were the first four big games in his career and he knows nothing about the football as a whole.
Some words about our offense as well. I assume they will need to pick it up as averaging 17 points in 4 PS games isn't the best options how to win the cup. Our peak so far was against the Outlaws, where Bottles registered 2 clutch TD's to secure a win, but still they need to do better.
